The #itswalky! IRC channel was a big hit way back in the day, so it was no surprise to me that once Dumbing of Age started, those same folks wanted to have a new one for the new comic. I obliged! Does anyone else see anyone when they go on? It’s always empty when I open #dumbingofage, except for this one guy “kilonum”, who never says anything. Anyone find an an active IRC?

Hello, my name is William Parker and I run a food blog local to Columbus, Ohio where I put up recipe’s and review local restaurants. I moved to Columbus about a year and a half ago and fell in love with it’s food scene. I’ve been reading Dumbing of Age since it started and am slowly making my way through Shortpacked!, both of which I’ve been enjoying immensely, enough so that I decided to look you up on Wikipedia, where I discovered that you are in fact local. I was wondering, if you have the time, and are so inclined, if you would be interested in being interviewed about your favorite foods and local restaurants? Either way, keep up the great work.

P.S. I’m sorry to leave this here but I left it in the Forum on Blank Label and received no reply, so, since I cannot find an e-mail for you I thought this might get to you faster.
I have to warn you, the closest thing to “local cuisine” I eat is the Taco Bell that’s nearest to my apartment.
No local joints at all? Ah well, guess that can’t be helped. Is there an e-mail address I could reach you at to give you a full list of questions?

I tried not to use the same old questions everyone always asks.
Any reason I got banned? I’ve never posted to your site, yet when trying to access it tonight I got a “You Are Banned” page. WTH?
At the bottom of the Banned page, it says this:
“(Sometimes this banning plug-in gives false positives. If you’ve actually been really nice, try again in fifteen minutes or something. My apologies!)”
But I’ve gotten a lot of false positives tonight, apparently, so I’ve deactivated the ban plugin, for now.
