Currently, the Wells Library (commonly known as the IU Main Library) closes at 8 PM Sunday thru Thursday, and 5 PM Friday and Saturday. So definitely no. I couldn’t say what their hours were in the past, since I haven’t been there in thirty years.
I came in a few days late and had to flick back a few pages. Between the waking up scene and Lucy’s blunt honesty with Danny about her sexual intents i actually thought the whole Roller Derby scene was going to turn out to be a dream sequence.
They have a day ahead to say whatever that’s relevant. But actually posting anything is, I believe, open to everybody. And what’s up with the times the comic gets posted? I can’t find a pattern lol
Look at the blurry patreon preview before hand so you can comment on the difference. For instance, yesterday I was wondering about a scene change to someone with dyed red hair.
You can get it without that, but you do have to be a lot quicker on the draw than you would if you already knew what you wanted to say from having already seen the comic.
i’d imagine there’s prolly twitter notifications or so to have it let you know or RSS feeds (which i never tried out so idk how effective tehy are for comics)

Yeah, Lucy thinks they’re both in love. A lot of Christians won’t have sex unless they think its a forever union type thing, with their mutual love bonding them, and I bet Lucy is one of those. Walky isn’t sure if he loves her. That’s something he needs to figure out before they sleep together.
She did state the 3 date rule in a way that implied she was definitely interested and wanted to move through those dates quickly, well before the misinterpreted love comment.

Well, I think the idea is that the dinner happens, time passes, the drink happens, and then relocation happens, and then the sex. Alcohol is more variable in its effect on sex.
Not that I disbelieve you or anything, but I’ve eaten at Taco Bell numerous times in my life and never had adomainal pain or anything similar afterwards. I always assumed the jokes were just jokes.
This may actually happen to a few people, but mostly it’s a wild exaggeration if not totally made up. I don’t think a restaurant that actually caused its patrons intense suffering after every meal would stay in business very long. Taco Bell food is okay, but it’s hardly that good.
Yeah I had a chart on my blog back in the Aughties, of how many miles a TB value menu bean burrito would fuel me on my bike, seeing as I used 2000 Calories/day just to stay alive and 4500 Calories/day to ride ~100 miles/day. I think it came out something like 4-6 of the value menu bean burritos per hundred miles, it has been about 10 years or so and I can’t remember the exact number.

Indiana is kinda notorious for utterly random weather. Christmas ’21, I was actually driving around with my car’s top down. By the end of January, we’d had lows in the high single digits. Just since the beginning of April this year, we’ve had lows in the thirties, and a high in the low eighties.

My wife and I were just talking about how we can’t believe we used to be able to squeeze into a twin-sized bed in college and sleep comfortably and that’s all I can think of reading today’s comic.
We more or less had to play a game of Twister to make sure our limbs were all nestled properly so we could be comfortable but it was fine! Nowadays if I sleep wrong my back hurts for a week.
I prefer a queen size myself. I could probably live with a twin widthwise, but I really need the extra length. A twin is only about an inch longer than I am.
College beds aren’t just regular Twin, they’re Twin XL. That way you have to buy all new sheets that are only good in the dorms! It’s a big scam, I tells ya!

I slept with my first college girlfriend well before we had sex. Technically even before she was my girlfriend. And she wasn’t anywhere near as ready to move to sex as Lucy is.
Seems like a natural progression to me, but I know some see it differently.

What’s funny about that strip, is at around the same time, Becky and Dina AND Joe and Joyce(!) are doing the “waking up after having slept next to each other for the first time” routine.
I miss waking up and having someone for early morning cuddling, and complaining about it being too early for us to be awake so we just go back to sleep. We were sharing a twin-sized bed, so our options were holding each other or someone being halfway off the bed.
That being said, every time we slept in the same bed, by morning the sheets had been pulled off the bed. So I had to put the sheets back on the bed all the time, and try futilely to make them stay on for next time.
Still, it is a minor complaint and it was worth it.
I don’t know if I’m glad Jennifer was there or not. On the one hand, I’m ready for the Lucy sex debacle to be resolved. On the other hand, I really think that if they have sex, one or both of them will regret it.

When we were RAs the biggest roommate problems we had to deal with were people having sex when the roommate was in the room. It was even part of the roommate agreement because what seems insane at the beginning of the year seems ok when you’re actually in a relationship (problems were with people who didn’t fill it out). So good on Lucy for being considerate.

There’s clock drift on the server. From what I gather, it’s posting about 5 minutes before midnight ET. I’d start checking 5 minutes before that.
