Joyce Brown

Joyce was homeschooled but now she’s going to college. You’d think she’d be completely out of her depth, but you’d only be half right. Though Joyce doesn’t have the pop culture savvy and familiarity with diversity that most of her new peers do, she more than makes up for it with a sunny outgoingness and an infectious cheerfulness. She persists in believing everyone around her is perfect and darling, even though she was taught they’re all horrible sinners.

Dorothy, the atheist, is somehow her best friend, and Sarah, the misanthropist, is her ever-suffering roommate.
