This comic really reinforces how much Joyce needs to dress up in a Fremsuit for Halloween. Which should come right around Mother’s Day ’11 at this rate.
I love strip comics that take weeks or months to tell one day’s story (Freefall is the absolute hands down king of this); it’s like drunk-dialing critics who bitch about decompressed storytelling and just laughing at them until they cry. I say more punchlines per square inch equals more efficient delivery of comedy.
Willis’ hated enemy, Jeph Jacques, is pretty good about taking days to tell one day’s story. I think it’s been winter in QC-land since summer of this year, if not spring.
Probably because it is cheaper to build, and cheaper for cleaning. And yes, have to love those co-ed washrooms, nothing like being at the urinal when a girl you are crushing on walks in. My favorite was seeing what the girls looked like in the morning before they got made-up and prettified.

Yes, well, for some of us showering after gym in high school was a matter of getting in and out as fast as possible because the temperature and water pressure were lousy and we were fat and/or didn’t want the fat kids looking at us. It was a matter of not completely smelling during math class, and then we’d do a proper job of bathing when we got home. Waiting until you get home to shave and wash your hair isn’t an option when you’re living in a dorm, though, so there is a difference.

At my high school, showering after gym was only available to people who were on the sports teams.
