See, I used to love that speech, but now I kinda think telling your own granddaughter that she’s not allowed to have tears or anxieties is a bit of a dickmove.
In general, dumping your teen daughter in a post-apocalyptic wasteland with no warning because you eavesdropped on her confessing to her crush that she’d like to settle down is…well, let’s just say there’s a reason why the series 9 finale hinges on interrogating Doctor Who’s habit of ignoring the actual wants and needs of their companions in favor of “doing what’s best for them.”
I’m going to one next weekend, in Los Angeles. A tabletop gaming convention, replete with all the risks. Lots of 50+ attendees, many with respiratory and mobility issues (gamers are not known for physical fitness), clustered around gaming tables with no social distancing? Yeah, we know the dangers, but we’re gamers, and we HAVE to know whether this kind of thing will work in the future.
We’re taking all the precautions we can – proof of vaccination is required of all attendees, and masks must be worn at all times on the convention floor – but it’s still a risk. This may be a bellwether for the viability of future cons, so wish us luck!
This is so needlessly irresponsible. Just wait a couple months. Like, jesus. Cases are literally climbing right now. You’re gambling with the lives of others, not just those of the “gamers”.
I feel like there’s at least one precaution that you’re not taking – holding the event virtually rather than risking spreading the virus further and killing thousands more people.
No, it isn’t sensible to have a convention right now, even with those precautions. It’s one thing to see a small group of people you know and trust and another to go to a whole fucking convention full of people. We are still in a pandemic and that doesn’t change because some gamers think not being able to sit around a table together risks the viability of future cons.
Yeah, I haven’t even gone back to gaming in person with my local group and I’m in a state that doing pretty well at the moment. Wouldn’t even consider a convention.
If everyone there is fully vaccinated and wearing masks then it should meet the current CDC guidelines for fully vaccinated people. Maybe don’t go if you’re in contact with someone who’s immunosuppressed.
My boyfriend, who is the type of con going gamer as above, has ONE in person game currently running. It’s him and two close friends he knows for a fact are fully vaccinated and not going around seeing a ton of other people all the time. Again, there’s a big difference between small gatherings with people you know and trust and a convention full of randoms who’ve been seeing god knows who and been in god knows what crowds. Clearly safety isn’t a big concern for them.
Clif – The CDC’s guidelines saying you don’t need to mask up and social distance in large gatherings and crowds is a big part of why Delta’s spreading so badly right now, because there’s no way to actually ENFORCE the ‘If you’re fully vexed’ most of the time. Sure, let’s say they confirm everyone in the con is fully vaxxed. You can’t vouch for everyone they’ve seen on the bus, in stores, the people they’ve hung out with, etc. Having an in person convention right now is reckless and irresponsible
It might be viable later, but unless the hospitals have stopped being strained by patients since I last checked – even in pre-pandemic times, con crud was a thing. Add variants and breakthrough infections, and going to a con with the current shortage of medical access seems a little unwise, even with the comparatively low infection chances resulting from the precautions.
This isn’t even getting into the possibility of anti-vaxers with forged vaccination cards showing up.
I understand being impatient to get back to in-person gaming, but it’s probably best to wait a little longer. For now, as Librain said, virtual options exist.
I’m sorry if I’ve been coming off as harsh in this thread – my immune system is lower than average and I’ve been getting more and more testy about things like this as the pandemic goes on. I still maintain virtual cons are the better option right now, but I can be less cranky about it.
Also, is John Mulaney’s middle name really Edmund?
I now wish to headcanon that he is a secret member of the Blackadder family, the Mulaney Branch having been disowned for not being grumpy enough, despite having the genetic predisposition to wit.
I mean Joyce is gonna have a default advantage just by being a woman, but also her comic might have subconsciously inserted lesbian undertones so this is not looking good for Walky even if he is looking good actually dressed well.
It’s actually kind of nice that roles are reversed as far as inherent prejudice based employment advantages go, but I guess Walky is a minority so overall they probably break even sadly.
The inevitability of Daisy meeting Joyce feels like watching a truck full of strawberries hurtling out of control, right towards a molten vat of chocolate. It could be extremely messy or an absolute delight, but it’ll probably end up being a whole lot of both. I can’t decide whether to feel dread or excitement.
Oh, oh! It never occurred to me to ship Joyce and Daisy. Now I’m shipping them so hard. Unfortunately, I would expect it to take forever. May my expectations be subverted.
Walky’s best hope is that Daisy finds his simple gag-a-day strip a more appropriate fit for the newspaper than Joyce’s complex soap, which TBH it probably is
Is Daisy actually invested enough in this comic opening to give it that much thought? She honestly seemed really dismissive about the whole thing when it was brought up like she didn’t care what was printed just that something filled the slot. She doesn’t even know Joyce is applying and considering how her recent date went she might also be rather irritable.
I used to wear a t-shirt under my collared shirts for work, back when I had a dress code. mostly so I could take it off when I went out to lunch and be comfortable for a while.
I assume that “take it off” was meant to refer to the collared shirt, not the t-shirt (as would be grammatically implied), but… well, the ambiguity will appeal to many Whovians, I’m sure.
I’ve started wearing an undershirt because I sweat a lot and I am extremely tired of caring. Like, a few years back, I leaned my back against a glass door for, I dunno, ten minutes? And left a stain. So I’ve started wearing fast-dry performance shirts under whatever and it has helped.
I only wear undershirts with dress shirts.
I also wear thermal shirts under regular shirts if it’s really cold.
Since they live in Indiana (I believe, one of the I states regardless), I imagine it’s VERY cold in the winter, but I also wouldn’t be surprised if they were used to it.
I don’t think a t-shirt under a hoody is “an undershirt”. Colloquillay, and undershirt is meant to be worn under something like a dress shirt. Hoodies fill a roll closer to a jacket, so wearing one doesn’t relegate the item beneath it to being ‘an undershirt’ any more than a business suit does a dress shirt.
Lucy really does get Walky. After 4 months she seems to know what makes him tick. Cannot WAIT for the introduction of the new significant others to their parents.
Lucy is playing with fire here. Walky was already approaching dangerous enough levels of hotness that it was palpable even under his slovenliness. Now? Hooh, boy.
And it was surprisingly appropriate. Pimp my Ride didn’t actually solve any of the underlying problems with the cars they flipped, and most of the electronics were taken back by the companies that furnished them for the show after filming wrapped.
Could any of you imagine being off Twitter for so long that you find out months later that yihr favorite comedian got a divorce, through the alt-text of a webcomic?
They’ve been pushing you to sign up more and more lately, to the point you can’t even click on related tweets or view media full-size without an account.
They’re getting as bad a Pinterest, or Instagram.
Social media was a mistake. Bring back the 2005 Internet, it didn’t run on a handful of big platforms.
I’d heard the general concept but not that it was “yikes” territory. I’d kinda assumed that after the rehab news his wife had made the hard but understandable realization that being married to a recovered addict is entirely different than being married to a relapsed addict.
Nope, turns out the dude we mostly know for making “I love my wife very much” jokes was the one to initiate it.
To be fair, we’re just outsiders looking in. Who knows, he may have initiated it because he didn’t want things to fall apart slowly and horribly after he relapsed. Either way I’d imagine that it’s a difficult and unhappy situation all around.
Oh. Well, shit. Damn. I stand corrected then. I feel so sorry for Anna.
Guess I need a new favorite comedian now, since as funny as he is, I don’t think I can listen to his jokes without feeling sad and a little disgusted. Especially since so many of them were about his marriage. It’d almost feel like trying to laugh at Louis C. K.’s jokes about jerking off again.
I absolutely feel this. The only reason he hasn’t ruined Spiderverse for me looking back is that I had never let Nick Cage’s presence do that. I’d like to suggest Geroge Carlin or James Acaster (or literally any lesbian comedian) in place of John Mulaney.
If you want your mind blown, listen to some of George Carlin’s later work, then read the part in his autobiography about his time on Shining Time Station as Mr. Conductor.
To parrot Willis here this is mad parasocial. Unhealthy. Dude got a divorce and started seeing someone new and suddenly he’s being mentioned in the same breath as Louis CK, a literal sex offender. He made jokes about loving his wife and got a divorce, who cares that’s his private life that we don’t know anything about. It’s none of our business. If he didn’t cheat or abuse her, i couldn’t care less and neither should anyone else
Again, to be fair, we don’t know what went down or how long they’ve been separated emotionally. What seems like a fast development could have been a long time in the making.
Exactly. This is gross, let’s leave the dudes personal life alone. It hasn’t come out that he was cheating or abusive, so i don’t care. He did a normal thing adults do, it’s none of my business
If you are claiming that Mulaney cheated on his wife, just say that. But insinuating it by suggesting there is something wrong with a divorced man dating again is cowardly.
There is no mandated “mourning period” for divorce.
Unless she mentions cheating herself, my assumption is generally going to be on no cheating involved, because just assuming people are cheaters is kind of a big jump.
And well, someone realizing “I fell in love with someone else” and then immediately divorcing before heading to pursue the other relationship seems… reasonable? Seems one of the things divorce is for.
Like I don’t want to sound like a super boomer but I think this is something exacerbated by an age where it’s easier than ever to not only directly ascribe a face to the fiction you’re experiencing, but to be capable of constant, immediate contact with them.
It’s like, there have always been folks who get too into the people who make fiction, but actually talking about that with other people was hard, and nowadays you can just go “hey how’s this dude’s private life going?” and not only can other people chime in but you can directly ask the person you’re talking about.
Gonna need more than that to make me care. He’s not my friend, he’s a performer. We have no actual evidence that I’ve yet seen of any kind of abusive or predatory situation, so I don’t see why this is anyone’s business but theirs.
Okay, I’m more okay with Booster’s role as “person pointing out the obvious as the joke” and not “person trying to be ‘brutally honest and insightful’”.
This! I’ve enjoyed them these last couple of comics a lot more. Much less “that one abusive leftist we used to know who used pop psychology and misunderstood discourse terminology to gain social capital” and much more “snarky asshole who can’t stop pointing out the obvious”.
That doesn’t have to change. The fact that they’re divorced now doesn’t mean it wasn’t true. Sometimes things fall apart, that doesn’t mean there wasn’t genuine love there.
There’s a scene in the Douglas Adams book So Long, And Thanks For All The Fish where Arthur is at Fenchurch’s flat while she’s getting changed and he completely fails the task of not staring at her while she’s changing. I have been in a similar situation as Arthur and aced that task. The fact I still remember the incident a quarter of a century later is probably a sign.
Lol she got to see his abs AND she bought him a shirt that color coordinates with her outfit so they are unmistakably An Item
This is strategic because she’s also upping his attractiveness levels
She is schemier than I gave her credit for, in the best way
He’s so handsome! Lucy can barely contain her emotions. But she had a good chat with him. She knows how to convince him by speaking to him clearly, without forcing him. Nice! They’re a better couple than I thought. Really balanced.
Yeah, I have to say I liked this interaction. They seemed to have a genuine exchange of ideas. She made a very good point that he conceded and he seems to take her advice to heart. It’s still too early to say how it’ll start to deviate but they look like a pretty good pair here.
Judging from those red patches on Lucy’s cheeks in panel four, Walky went all the way down to “skin for the win”, and Lucy’s DEFINITELY liking what she saw.
Yeah that was Dorothy and Amber, because “Walky as himself” is actually a goofball who’s scared of living up to adulthood but will go to the ends of the earth for the people he cares about.
Lucy is dating a facsimile, Walky’s surface persona that he’s locked himself in because it’s what comes naturally and therefore putting effort into any other aspect of his life is terrifying because he’s been led to believe everyone’s going to stop wanting him if he stops being perfect, and “perfect” to Walky means “no effort” in that if something doesn’t come naturally to him it means he has to try, and if he has to try it means he’s not already perfect.
Yep. If Lucy got the emotional vulnerabilities Walky shared with Dorothy and Amber, we haven’t seen it. Which, given how they’ve talked about Mike’s death (or more to the point NOT talked about it) onscreen, I suspect she hasn’t.
Walky definitely NEEDS someone to talk about Mike’s death with, and Amber is uniquely unqualified to be that person right now (which sucks, because she needs someone to talk about it, too, but I don’t think she’s up for ‘he was so shitty to me I’m not entirely sad he’s dead’,) but I suspect because of the complication there and the idea you SHOULDN’T speak ill of the dead and of COURSE Walky’s sad his roommate died, he’s way less willing to share it with anyone who isn’t already on Garbage Roof friendship level.
Yeah I never thought about it until now but Dorothy and Walky are both perfectionists. Amber too, now that I think about it, wonder if Lucy’ll fit into that.
Dorothy needs to be perfect and so devotes every ounce of effort in her life to making her dream happen to the exclusion of leisure and relaxation. Dorothy needs to keep going to be perfect, but Walky needs to be perfect right now. Perfection means never having to put effort into anything, and now that he has to with his schoolwork that illusion he had of himself is gone even though his life was genuinely enriched by Dorothy pulling him out of his surface level persona because for a bit there Walky was going along with it, he was actually trying to be a better person in aspects of his life, he was being a more emotionally honest person, but then the school stuff hasn’t really come up again since Jason’s tutoring other than Amber changing his grades (which is ???)
Like, he tells Dorothy he’s flunking math and it’s like pulling teeth, he seriously looks like he thinks she’s going to hit him, and then he asks her if she’ll still love him. That didn’t come from nowhere.
Walky needs to talk to Joe who will rip the bandaid off that his late roommate was an abusive piece of shit and he shouldn’t feel bad about being glad he’s gone.
Heh, Lucy might actually be the perfect partner for Walky despite the rocky start to the relationship. She is fully aware of how he thinks and how to make use of it to nudge him in positive directions. She may be an idiot for falling for him, but she’s a dang genius otherwise XD
Interesting to get a periodic refresher of the timeline for where the buffer pages are at. Divorce happened in early May, and we’re at late August, so the inking process is about 3.5 months back? I think I counted that right.
Also holy shit, this is my first hearing of the divorce. Guess that means I’m not in a parasocial relationship with this comedian...Because I’m in one with vtubers.
I don’t want to sound mean, and I certainly cannot draw cartoons myself, forgive me if this is incredibly rude, I don’t mean it that way at all—-That being said, Walky’s lips in the last panel look so grey he looks a little corpselike, Willis? I’m SO SORRY!
Happy Nonbinary People's Day, you gemstones. A year or two back we introduced FLASH GORDON's first enby, the outlaw lawman Bones Malock. Having known and loved a lot of nonbinary people, I knew the truest way to represent you was as a unsettling desert pirate with a lightning sword
Happy International Non-Binary People's Day to all those who work, create, parent, protest, love and live without ever fitting into someone else's category.
Okay, everyone's jumping to conclusions, but Joyce was hit with a mysterious pink gas in Thursday's strip.
Now, in recent years, the police are known to increasingly use military grade weapons.
Which reminded me of this bit of proposed technology from the 1990s:
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gay_bomb
hey, kid, what do you want to play with from the cool superhero movie? is it a nude, melting senator who feels like a stretch armstrong doll that has been left out in the son and maybe mildly chewed by a neighborhood dog? WELL, SON, YOU'RE IN LUCK!
Joyce is absolutely totally straight and just wants to hang out with her best friend, who happens to be another lady. This is normal behavior and a normal biblical quote to use that has no other context.
GAL PALS
OK, I said I was going to a thread of receipts together on the guy who runs Kapow, in odder to explain why I personally would recommend not giving him your business at TFN.

Who’s “we” here, Ms. Lives on Comic Time
I think that was a Booster line actually
GDI
1. My computer decided it was doing a Windows Update and has been at “100%” for the past hour so my prepared statement is MIA
2. Phone >>> Mx.
Hmmm, dress for the job of a cartoonist?
I believe Willis usually wears Hawaiian shirts to cons, so I guess that’s the official uniform.
Maybe Walky can borrow Booster’s
“cons”
Now that’s a
namething I’ve not heard in a long time.One day…
…I shall come back. Yes, I shall come back.
Until then, there must be no tears, no regrets, no anxieties.

And yeah, Daisy’s definitely gonna be into the Julia/Doris slow burn

Right? I put my pitchfork down so fast when I remembered.
Joyce’s undercurrent bisexuality is gonna appeal to Daisy’s unsubtle lesbianism SO HARD:
Oh no… I’m just realizing this.
Doyce? Joysy?
¿Por qué no los dos?
Walky’s best hope is that Daisy finds his simple gag-a-day strip a more appropriate fit for the newspaper than Joyce’s complex soap, which TBH it probably is
Is Daisy actually invested enough in this comic opening to give it that much thought? She honestly seemed really dismissive about the whole thing when it was brought up like she didn’t care what was printed just that something filled the slot. She doesn’t even know Joyce is applying and considering how her recent date went she might also be rather irritable.
Daisy is irritable, but when she thinks with her brain and not her legs she’s actually decent at her job.
In her mind she’s squealing “I saw him topless!”
And wasn’t the phrase “abs like sculpted caramel”
She didn’t see him topless. He put the shirt on over his t-shirt. She’s grooving over his manly collared shirt.
No, I’m mistaken. Different t-shirt.
This is why we need an upvote system. Lucy need to go roll in the snow.
Is Walky wearing an undershirt?
W-was I supposed to be this whole time?
Eeehh, depends. Undershirts tend to have me writhing but I know multiple guys who are A-OK with them.
I can only stand them if they’re a size larger then they should be.
Nothing tight and restrictive.
Adds that nice extra layer between skin and your overshirt fabric
I used to wear a t-shirt under my collared shirts for work, back when I had a dress code. mostly so I could take it off when I went out to lunch and be comfortable for a while.
I assume that “take it off” was meant to refer to the collared shirt, not the t-shirt (as would be grammatically implied), but… well, the ambiguity will appeal to many Whovians, I’m sure.
I can’t stand them. The extra layer is too warm most of the time.
I think it depends on circumstance and preference
Also, “damn english, you crazy?”
But he’s now wearing an undershirt under his collared shirt.
Excellent pitch, Lucy!
Not going to lie, that’s honestly a good look for him.
Seconded.
Thirded.
Fourthed.
Yeah suddenly seeing what all these girls see in Walky (aside from nerdy charm of course)!
It really is.
Walky has always cleaned up well. Problem is, getting him to bother…
Lucy really does get Walky. After 4 months she seems to know what makes him tick. Cannot WAIT for the introduction of the new significant others to their parents.
I think this was the strip that made me go , “okay, maybe she’s not completely helpless in this crush”.
wait shit the girls were all totally right that boy does clean up nice
Wait, hold on. We don’t know whether his shoelaces are still untied or not.
Alt text reminded me of that and made me sad again.
I hadn’t heard about it before! Now I am sad.
He had a whole bit in one of my favorite shows of his about how happy he was to be married.
Lucy is playing with fire here. Walky was already approaching dangerous enough levels of hotness that it was palpable even under his slovenliness. Now? Hooh, boy.
“Pimp my ride,” they said.
…No? Just me? Okay…
I can’t imagine being on Twitter, having never been on it.
But the just finding that out via alt text? Yeah, right there with you.
You can, but you get the sign up/log in prompt every time. It’s annoying as hell.
Open in another tab or window and you’ll get there.
Or re-enter the address in whatever you’re trying to click on.
I can dream
Days after the divorce he started openly dating Olivia Munn.
Oh. Well, shit.
I can’t believe this adult who got a divorce started dating another adult.
Can we not talk about real people like they’re fictional characters.
We don’t need to speculate on this. We don’t need to think about it.
Two adults broke up. It doesn’t actually matter to us. Liking his standup doesn’t mean he’s a cartoon.
https://twitter.com/lukeisamazing/status/1393733210039795715
Like I don’t want to sound like a super boomer but I think this is something exacerbated by an age where it’s easier than ever to not only directly ascribe a face to the fiction you’re experiencing, but to be capable of constant, immediate contact with them.
It’s like, there have always been folks who get too into the people who make fiction, but actually talking about that with other people was hard, and nowadays you can just go “hey how’s this dude’s private life going?” and not only can other people chime in but you can directly ask the person you’re talking about.
That’s weird.
And?
Key word: after
Gonna need more than that to make me care.
They bring the genre-savvy comic metahumor.
This.
This! I’ve enjoyed them these last couple of comics a lot more. Much less “that one abusive leftist we used to know who used pop psychology and misunderstood discourse terminology to gain social capital” and much more “snarky asshole who can’t stop pointing out the obvious”.
Y’all remember that Ruth dragged that first analysis of herself out of Booster, right? And then Booster got going?
Like, does anyone not see that Booster themself seems to have no idea what they sound like to other people? Is it me? Am I the weirdo?
Nah, I get that vibe too.
Well, you are a weirdo, but you’re definitely not alone.
Well, Lucy’s having a good day.
I see Lucy is deploying Reverse Psychology, and it seems to be super effective
was that even reverse? she didn’t tell him “go wear what you usually wear,” she appealed to his sense of spite and competition.
Incorrect, Booster! YOU watched it at regular speed. LUCY watched it in slow-motion.
And judging by the grin and blush, it’s mentality playing back on constant loop.
Mulaney’s getting divorced?
That’s sad.
I loved his jokes about how his wife was a bongo and he loved her so much.
That doesn’t have to change. The fact that they’re divorced now doesn’t mean it wasn’t true. Sometimes things fall apart, that doesn’t mean there wasn’t genuine love there.
Still sad that he lost that, though.
Frankly, I’m suprised Walky didn’t put that shirt on over the yellow T.
I can’t help but see Panel 4 as either a Poggers or a Sweet Bro and Hella Jeff face
Pog Walky Pog Walky
I told you about collared shirts bro
It keeps happening
Walky changing in regular speed – available on slipshine
Someone get Lucy a glass of water before she melts down!
What DOESN’T Joyce dress nice for?
The line to the shower?
Specifically her shower. Not the one on Joe’s floor.
Custom shower shoes doesn’t count as dressing nice? It’s more effort than I put into my shower outfit.
… so, wait. Is the big selling point of trying to dress up your significant other that it involves them undressing?
….
HOW DID IT TAKE ME THIS MANY DECADES TO FIGURE THAT OUT?
There’s a scene in the Douglas Adams book So Long, And Thanks For All The Fish where Arthur is at Fenchurch’s flat while she’s getting changed and he completely fails the task of not staring at her while she’s changing. I have been in a similar situation as Arthur and aced that task. The fact I still remember the incident a quarter of a century later is probably a sign.
I completely fail that task every single time. One thing comes off and even if I’m in the middle of a raid, BOOM, like a magnetic hinge.
Lol she got to see his abs AND she bought him a shirt that color coordinates with her outfit so they are unmistakably An Item
This is strategic because she’s also upping his attractiveness levels
She is schemier than I gave her credit for, in the best way
Needs more Reginald Thingley.
I mean…correct…but also good lord man just wear the collared shirt all the time it looks ten times better on you than the hoodie.
Yeah, but…
a) is it more comfortable? (Answer: Nerp)
b) Can he really be bothered to wear it every day? (Answer: Maybe, but he’d still get stains on it anyway)
ooo I was wondering if this was pre or post divorce announcement.
….is that shade above Walky’s lips new? Or am I just inattentive?
That’s not above his lips. That is his upper lip. Compare Lucy’s.
I think that change started after the time jump.
heh made lucys month and possibly year …..
Next you’re telling me he will go by David instead of Walky… WAIT NO-
Yes, but it’s pronounced Duhveed. David J. Walkerton, DJ and Cartoonist for hire.
That last panel is very anime. I dig it.
Hmm… well if it works at making Walky Not look like a slob then it works.
Lucy, as a pure genius. Walky, as a smart-ass with popular knowledge.
I guess that means they’re a power couple.
The boy needs a haircut. Also, Booster, you’re an asshole.
Lucy’s face in the last panel makes it clear she was watching him change into that shirt.
But what’s the proportion of “she just watched him change” to “seeing him kinda dressed up” in that expression, though?
The cheek blushes.
Book 12: He Will Dress Nice For The Lulz
Cover’s perfect for it, too
Judging from those red patches on Lucy’s cheeks in panel four, Walky went all the way down to “skin for the win”, and Lucy’s DEFINITELY liking what she saw.
Are there any female presenting characters in the current cast that would accept Walky as himself?
Not a criticism, just wondering. I guess, Amber?
Amber did and now she doesn’t
Damn Walky looks super sexy in that last panel and that’s not something I ever thought I would say.
Heh, Lucy might actually be the perfect partner for Walky despite the rocky start to the relationship. She is fully aware of how he thinks and how to make use of it to nudge him in positive directions. She may be an idiot for falling for him, but she’s a dang genius otherwise XD
DAMN! Walky cleans up NICE!
Looks like a couple people had the honor to witness a shirtless Walky
Once again, Lucy gets a preview of whats to come, when she gets him in bed.
Oh good, meta comic-time jokes:D
Interesting to get a periodic refresher of the timeline for where the buffer pages are at. Divorce happened in early May, and we’re at late August, so the inking process is about 3.5 months back? I think I counted that right.
Also holy shit, this is my first hearing of the divorce. Guess that means I’m not in a parasocial relationship with this comedian.
..Because I’m in one with vtubers.Note: the time stretch between writing and inking is a few minutes, so really I just looked up from my pencils to check my Twitter timeline.
Wow that’s a startling command of timing you have there.
Timing truly is everything.
This actually makes the whole bit even more entertaining.
I don’t want to sound mean, and I certainly cannot draw cartoons myself, forgive me if this is incredibly rude, I don’t mean it that way at all—-That being said, Walky’s lips in the last panel look so grey he looks a little corpselike, Willis? I’m SO SORRY!
He’s recently taken up eating dust as a hobby, cut the kid some slack.
I guess my comments got eaten by a sandworm. Oh well
If it had too many links that could be it, or if you misspelled your existing email since new emails need to be verified.
Wait Jon Mulaney wrote and inked this page? Weird
pfff dangling participle joke +1
but -1 for misspelling John
And it was on this day that Lucy discovered that she could spontaneously orgasm.
