True enough. I suspect that this Amber also has more than her fair dose of issues. Different issues manifesting themselves differently, but the Amazigirl persona probably isn’t just the work of a hobbyist. This is likely an early sign of the sorts of stuff she’ll have to overcome.
I think Amber has committed assault maybe once. Which was when she was preventing a group of bullies from assaulting Danny. I guess you can count the door she punched.

I just noticed this–the way Amber (yes, AMBER, everyone just shut the hell up) cocks an eyebrow at the tape recorder in the second panel looks to me like she didn’t expect to find it there…which means she might’ve been breaking into Sal and Billie’s room for a completely unrelated reason and this was just a pleasant surprise. This makes no sense to me. Do you mean that Danny is planing to take advantage of Amber? And how did he lie to Joe? He omitted that his liking another girl was a factor, but I don’t think that really constitutes a lie. Everything he said looks like it matches up to me.
I think C’s implication is that his main reason for not sleeping with Billie was because he liked Amber, and if it hadn’t been for that, he would have been totally willing–no ‘not taking advantage.’ So he was lying to Joe, because ‘not taking advantage’ wasn’t really his reason.
Don’t really think that’s true, though, I think Danny honestly didn’t want to take advantage of Billie, because sleeping with a girl who you don’t really care about just because she’s hot and available can be considered ‘taking advantage’. And I think Danny probably would have thought of it that way–even though Billie didn’t care about him either. The fact that he also likes another girl just added to it. So yeah, he just omitted that part when he explained it to Joe. I don’t think he lied.
I’m not sure Joe would understand not bumping uglies with someone just because you liked someone else. Especially if you hadn’t sealed the deal with the other one. Of course with him sealing the deal means you can now move on to the next.
No point trying to explain how much you like someone else to Joe., he would either call you hurtful names or try to help you by using his powers of seduction on the girl you like to tell her you like her, Or try to get with her to prove she isn’t worth it.
She’s just pleased that Lois Billingsworth was distracted so thoroughly from investigating her, and in that last panel is just going D’awwww like all the rest of you for how sweet/cheesy this unknown boy on the tape was being.
That seems entirely like it could happen, if she’s already down enough that Sal doesn’t know exactly which window she comes from. Which floor do they live in anyways?

As soon as I saw this, I was excited for an Amazi-Girl storyline. Now it seems to be more Amber-focused, which is still good, but I’m still holding out for some superheroing hijinx. Amazi-Girl really needs an archvillain already.

I just noticed this–the way Amber (yes, AMBER, everyone just shut the hell up) cocks an eyebrow at the tape recorder in the second panel looks to me like she didn’t expect to find it there…which means she might’ve been breaking into Sal and Billie’s room for a completely unrelated reason and this was just a pleasant surprise. Thoughts?
She was there to snarl at Billie in a freakishly hoarse voice: “Leave him alone!”
there is a theory she broke in to see if billie has figured out amazi-girl’s secret identity.
Pretty sure that’s more of a “what, she just leaves it lying there?” look.

Does this redeem Danny? It’s one thing to not “take advantage” of a woman, but It’s another thing to hold it for someone else. This also means that Danny lied to Joe earlier.
This makes no sense to me. Do you mean that Danny is planing to take advantage of Amber? And how did he lie to Joe? He omitted that his liking another girl was a factor, but I don’t think that really constitutes a lie. Everything he said looks like it matches up to me.
I think C’s implication is that his main reason for not sleeping with Billie was because he liked Amber, and if it hadn’t been for that, he would have been totally willing–no ‘not taking advantage.’ So he was lying to Joe, because ‘not taking advantage’ wasn’t really his reason.
Don’t really think that’s true, though, I think Danny honestly didn’t want to take advantage of Billie, because sleeping with a girl who you don’t really care about just because she’s hot and available can be considered ‘taking advantage’. And I think Danny probably would have thought of it that way–even though Billie didn’t care about him either. The fact that he also likes another girl just added to it. So yeah, he just omitted that part when he explained it to Joe. I don’t think he lied.
I’m not sure Joe would understand not bumping uglies with someone just because you liked someone else. Especially if you hadn’t sealed the deal with the other one. Of course with him sealing the deal means you can now move on to the next.
No point trying to explain how much you like someone else to Joe., he would either call you hurtful names or try to help you by using his powers of seduction on the girl you like to tell her you like her, Or try to get with her to prove she isn’t worth it.

But gee, I wonder why Amazi-Girl is interested in that tape? Could this be a clue to her identity??? Stay tuned, Amazi-fans!
She’s just pleased that Lois Billingsworth was distracted so thoroughly from investigating her, and in that last panel is just going D’awwww like all the rest of you for how sweet/cheesy this unknown boy on the tape was being.
