I understand it’s a good break from the cop stuff, but the cop stuff is what I’m most interested in right now, so unless these two are gonna have a real conversation (which is highly unlikely, as Amber is bleeding out and barely functioning because of the meds, and Walky avoids serious conversations like the plague unless he HAS to have one), I’d much rather move on to other characters. Cute as they are.

But also: I can’t recall another couple that even got a tenth of the “they’re so cute, I want nothing bad to happen to them and no recriminations for their perfectly ethical actions” either, so it’s kind of a mixed bag.
I understand that people are frustrated with the negativity we’ve had in the comments for so long, but damn the constant disingenuous takes on what people complain about are annoying.

Honestly, Li was right — the real problem at this point is that a disproportionate number of the commenters remaining, regardless of their “side” on any given issue, are just here to be hostile to their perceived opponents and many of the folks who were interested in just talking are taking a break or gone.
I understand the urge (I have it myself), but there’s no good reason to bring up arguments on irrelevant strips. Don’t worry, those arguments will come back around again, I promise, but restarting them yourself just makes the social culture of the comment section worse.

I’ll also note that if she’s not actively making pained noises, “collapsed from the pain” and “dazed from painkillers, trying to sleep it off” probably look pretty similar from where Walky’s standing.
But that is the point of the strip, Walky knows Amber good enough to know that -for her- finishing the race is more important than anything else, that’s why his reply is a simple “on it”, he was already doing what he knew she would want, that might not show the love between them, but for sure it shows how well they know each other.
Not convinced she is collapsing in pain. She may have taken some when she got into the bed at last, but they haven’t kicked in. Now she can collapse and fade away and hopefully no cops to talk to…

And most importantly the commentariate has been unable to freak out about Dorothy and Joyce being cute together for days. Some nothingburger.
We know that the police are actively investigating/trying to hunt down Amazigirl, and we know there’s some mystery person (possibly Asher?) who knows about Amber and Amazigirl’s relationship.
Maybe Willis should add a feature to the site that puts Subway Surfers footage on each side of the comic strip, with a gambling mechanic underneath and a button that when you press it a TTS voice reads out the comic strip in a weird inflection.

Its fine, they made some bizarre choices where in grand prix and online when you start a new race after your first one you have to race to the new track and that counts as the first two laps so you only get one lap on most tracks you end up playing

Bigger, more beautiful and definitely more challenging. There is much more variety to enemies and their attacks and an uncomfortable number of them can hit you for two masks.
Oh so still fairly early in the game. Mhm from where you are in the game going to the Crystal Peak would be probably most efficient. It’s to the right of the Forgotten Crossroads, entrance at the top of that vertical area right next to the Stag Station.
I’m glad that Walky is fine with Amber resting in his room, but he’s always seemed like a pretty decent person to me. It would feel wildly out of character if he decided to kick her out, especially with her injuries.
Walky also still has feelings for Amber; as long as she is there I’m sure Walky will try to help her. Even if he didn’t have feelings for Amber I feel like he would willingly hide her anyway; he knows her getting found right now would be a disaster.
Yesterday Amber had no bubbles over her head in panel 2, a few in panel 3, quite a lot in panel 5 and was laid flat with bubbles and woozy swirls in panel 6. We know she barely made it into the bed before Walky arrived and the cop arrived pretty soon after that. My pick is that she *has* taken pain meds since arriving in Walky’s room, but they haven’t had time to kick in. It would probably be dangerous to take them before going out the window. The sitting up was so as not to pass out before Walky or Booster arrived, because she knows she’s taken them. But the effects are kicking in, and now she doesn’t care about Mario Kart, only passing out and being safe.
The only problem with this logic is what Clif said about Dina holding them and doling them out to Amber.
And does Dina know where Amber is? Cos she may worry!

The veredict is: Get Mario Kart 8 deluxe. It’s considerably more complete, and all the new gimmicks in World don’t make up for the shitty online.

World feels kinda half-baked? Idk how to describe it, but I dropped it much quicker than any other Mario kart before it

used to be on famfrit before moving to marlboro, on famfy i joined a crossworld linkshell for femroes and would often run into the other members out and about which was always nice. i feel like theres less femroes on marlboro than famfrit

How is Silksong btw? I played Hollow Knight, but I never finished it. I can’t afford Silksong right now, but if I’m going to keep it on my wishlist then how does it compare to Hollow Knight?
Bigger, more beautiful and definitely more challenging. There is much more variety to enemies and their attacks and an uncomfortable number of them can hit you for two masks.

I got stuck doing the quest for the first sword upgrade; I kept dying to the hidden grass enemies while searching for stuff.
My mistake; not the first upgrade, but the first to require pale ore. I forgot the first one is just money based.
Oh so still fairly early in the game. Mhm from where you are in the game going to the Crystal Peak would be probably most efficient. It’s to the right of the Forgotten Crossroads, entrance at the top of that vertical area right next to the Stag Station.
I’m glad that Walky is fine with Amber resting in his room, but he’s always seemed like a pretty decent person to me. It would feel wildly out of character if he decided to kick her out, especially with her injuries.
Walky also still has feelings for Amber; as long as she is there I’m sure Walky will try to help her. Even if he didn’t have feelings for Amber I feel like he would willingly hide her anyway; he knows her getting found right now would be a disaster.
Did anybody suggest that? I don’t think there’s any been any suggestion that Walky wouldn’t do all he can to help Amber in a situation like this.

Yesterday Amber had no bubbles over her head in panel 2, a few in panel 3, quite a lot in panel 5 and was laid flat with bubbles and woozy swirls in panel 6. We know she barely made it into the bed before Walky arrived and the cop arrived pretty soon after that. My pick is that she *has* taken pain meds since arriving in Walky’s room, but they haven’t had time to kick in. It would probably be dangerous to take them before going out the window. The sitting up was so as not to pass out before Walky or Booster arrived, because she knows she’s taken them. But the effects are kicking in, and now she doesn’t care about Mario Kart, only passing out and being safe.
The only problem with this logic is what Clif said about Dina holding them and doling them out to Amber.
And does Dina know where Amber is? Cos she may worry!

If amber needed more meds, Dina would see she got them. Walky just needs to provide a safe haven.
We don’t know the situation though. Nor does Dina now.
The meds could have been nearby while Dina went to class for Amber to take when she woke up and needed them, but were left behind in the rush to get out.
Walky wouldn’t know they were there. Nor does Dina know Amber’s gone or where she’s gone.
All of this is fixable of course, but not quite as simple as that.
