What with all the cameos of out buddies from the other world, I’m going to make a crazy prediction and say someone from SP! is going to actually play a role eventually (probably not going to happen, but if it does, I CALLED IT!).
You shall all fight for Mike’s amusement. Come to think of it, everything happens for Mike’s amusement. And apparently this avatar drives me to speak in the third person. About Mike fucking your mom.
Given that this is a ‘verse drawing from all sorts of elements of the walkyverse, I’m betting all guesses are right (or if not, that these are all known characters)
I have that feeling as well, or at least she tries to sneak in through the window and fails at it. Or shes still super ninja and whiel Ruth and Billie are fighting she come in and wonders why they’re fighting.
Almost didn’t see Amber appropriately hiding in the background though. Plus at least one other person behind Mary. Agatha, Rachel, and ROZ of all people kinda steal the show for background cameos.
If Roz is a freshman (at least) in this world, how old does that make Robin? Is she graduated already? It would be weird if Robin were in this at all and had seniority over everyone else in the cast.
Is it just me, or is Mary dressing a little more slutty than she did in the Walkyverse? It would be a normal wardrobe for any other character, but for a Puritan like her it’s freakin’ lingerie. Not to mention the old Mary would have shown up an hour early to the meeting just to suck up to authority. So something tells me this is a different version than the one we’re used to seeing.
The stomach showing is probably just the result of her shirt being pulled up high. The T-shirt could be explained as it still being the first week of September…a little warm for the attire we’re used to seeing her in.
As for the showing up late thing, she could’ve just forgot the time. As someone else mentioned, Mary was a massive hypocrite. I can see her giving others shit about showing up late/not showing up at all, but (from my perspective at least) her being late/absent isn’t something she’d consider a big deal.
Of course, this isn’t Walkyverse!Mary, this is Dumbiverse!Mary, so it probably doesn’t matter.
Girl behind Joyce looked like Rachel (aka Joe’s internet girlfriend; that checkout girl who helped build Ultra Car) but after going back and looking at her in the Walkyverse! I feel I am wrong unless he’s made some changes to her character.
In retrospective, it is easy to imagine Ruth seeing that D.U.I. on the file and having all the anger rush back to her like a punch to the gut…and then Billie had to go on and say “I could destroy you”! You certainly could, Billie, just not in the way you think! Now I can understand that manic grin in Ruth’s face so much better. The whole thing must have been rather therapeutic for her. I’ll bet she had not felt this alive in ages :/
Wow, Robin’s sister? Can’t say I saw that one coming. o.o
Holy crap! I almost didn’t notice Roz in there.
What? Roz is… HOLY CRAP!!!
Roz? Where? HOLY CRAP!!!!
See, and I was about to be all, holy crap its Roz. You beat me to it you bastard!
SANCTIFIED DUNG!
Boba fett?
Where?
Make sure theres pudding.
Ah, Mary! I somehow knew you’d be here.
Is that . . . Grace behind Billie’s left shoulder?! Yay!
I think that’s Agatha, Robin’s old squad leader
I think that’s Rachel
A cat fight so soon. Willis, you sure know how to please an audience.
This is not a cat fight. This is like a Sabertooth tiger vs a mutated mountain lion… Blood will be shed… To the victor goes the carcass and the honor…
Those are… those are both still cats.
Perhaps a better way to put it would be “this is no mere cat fight…”
ahhh billie and ruth going to be at it the whole time in this one too?
I didn’t like where it lead last time.
It led to them having sex.
So, speaking of which, what if your fandom has gay overtly-text? Does it still count?
Yes.
Oh man, shit is about to go down!
Oh MAN. Ruth and Billie are so totally gonna be scissoring before the end of the semester.
Retrospective:
FUCKING CALLED IT!
Hmmm… Possible Roz Joe Action later? Signs point to maybe.
Oh Ruth I love! II love you? I Love you!
Billie is apparently a base. Interesting.
It explains a lot.
Darnit, I was hoping to be the first to spot Roz.
Is that Amber behind Sarah?
She’s holding a laptop. So I’d say yes.
What with all the cameos of out buddies from the other world, I’m going to make a crazy prediction and say someone from SP! is going to actually play a role eventually (probably not going to happen, but if it does, I CALLED IT!).
The two of them fighting would be so awesome, and I’m a straight girl who hates fighting.
Incidentally, Billie is a SEMME agent now? I mean, three people is a lot to lift on your own.
Not if you’re a cheerleader! Cheerleaders are naturally blessed with superhuman powers. FACT.
Thar ain’t now SEMME in them thar hills!
I’m sure she means she can lift three cheerleaders above her head, so that’s roughly equivalent to one regular person.
Billie’s an intense bongo. She needs her ass handed to her.
Make it happen, Willis!
I believe that’s Rachel, Joe’s cybernetic partner in crime, behind Joyce, isn’t it?
You shall all fight for Mike’s amusement. Come to think of it, everything happens for Mike’s amusement. And apparently this avatar drives me to speak in the third person. About Mike fucking your mom.
Oh wait, who’s the gal in the red shirt?
That’s Mary. Back in Roomies!, she was a holier-than-thou childhood friend of Danny’s who ended up pregnent (also making her a hypocrite)
Holy crap, that is Mary!
I think I was detracted by the downright hilarious look on Sarah’s face in the first panel. -‘__’-
Ohhhh. I don’t remember her getting pregnant though. Where was that?
Ruth terrifies me in all the right ways.
I love that you have a Billie avatar.
David, I will be very disappointed if no torn clothing ensues from this.
I will be disapponted if it DOES! Hows that for unpleaseable fan base
I kid, as long as its funny I care not.
Hmm–I’m also wondering if the blonde in the brown shirt is Agatha . . .
I am also fairly certain that is Agatha.
Given that this is a ‘verse drawing from all sorts of elements of the walkyverse, I’m betting all guesses are right (or if not, that these are all known characters)
Ugh, I cant shake off the hope that at any moment we will have a “Sal enters through the window” moment…
So unlikely on non-martianverse.
I have that feeling as well, or at least she tries to sneak in through the window and fails at it. Or shes still super ninja and whiel Ruth and Billie are fighting she come in and wonders why they’re fighting.
What? You mean that’s not Leslie in the brown shirt? Now I’m disappointed.
Oooh, she’s a cheerleader!
Just gotta say I SEE ROZ! and Amber!
So, no Leslie?
I’m waiting to see what happens when Ruth finds Joe in one of the rooms on her floor “caught with his pants down” so to speak…
Agatha and Roz
…Roz?!
(Also, hoping this leads to the showing of Sal this week).
Hopefully this one won’t be such a bongo.
Of course, this isn’t Walkyverse!Mary, this is Dumbiverse!Mary, so it
probablydoesn’t matter.I think we have our first OTP of the series.
They got together for a night of passion in the last one, so why not?
This is gonna be sweet!
I’m certain I’ve seen the woman directly behind Joyce somewhere before, but it escapes me.
And I get no brownie points for spotting Roz, Agatha and Amber in the background.
Also, Willis, I’ve noticed a flaw in your random avatar generator. The Walky one is hard to distinguish at-a-glance from your own.
Finally, Ruth wasn’t kidding when she said mandatory was she?
Really? I keep mistaking Billie’s avatar for his …
Yeah — the Billie one gets me because of the glasses.
The one directly behind Joyce is Rachel.
Man I love this version of Ruth. Willis better keep her alive, he better.
I don’t get it. My floor’s Don is so nice. What would compel someone to be such an utter bongo?
You’re assuming she wasn’t this way *before* becoming an RA.
I have no idea why, but suddenly I want someone, preferably Mary, to be Straight Edge.
Now what I want to know is who’s hiding behind Mary’s head in that second panel, next to Roz.
Girl behind Joyce looked like Rachel (aka Joe’s internet girlfriend; that checkout girl who helped build Ultra Car) but after going back and looking at her in the Walkyverse! I feel I am wrong unless he’s made some changes to her character.
She missed one.
Oh yeah, Billie. Cheerleaders garner SO much respect from people.
FLEE IN TERROR OF THE PHENOMENAL COSMIC CHEERLEADER POWERS!!
She’s got pop-poms and she ain’t afraid to use them!
^_^
In retrospective, it is easy to imagine Ruth seeing that D.U.I. on the file and having all the anger rush back to her like a punch to the gut…and then Billie had to go on and say “I could destroy you”! You certainly could, Billie, just not in the way you think! Now I can understand that manic grin in Ruth’s face so much better. The whole thing must have been rather therapeutic for her. I’ll bet she had not felt this alive in ages :/
Any R.A. pulling that manhandling crap with me would been up on battery charges.
I, for one, approve of Mary as a red shirt.
Later there would be a Slipshine based on those last two lines.
