Hi, yeah, this I’ve put in quite a lot of thought into.
So I’ve come up with two theories.
A)
Jen has an RSS feed alerter of some kind, and flush their caches daily.
Since they are a Patron on Willis’ Patreon, they can just copy and paste their comment as soon as they load the comment section.
So all Jen has to do is watch the RSS feed at precisely 12:02:11-12:02:12, Willis time, and they get first comment quite quickly.
Personally I believe that Jen lives in a remote location and has to brave miles and miles of road-less jungle each day to find an internet hotspot and then use a rickety old XP-machine covered in tapir poo to read the comic… and still beats all the rest of us.
When it was ninety degrees below.
Had to walk buck-naked, through forty miles of snow.
Worked in the coal mines twenty-two hours a day, for just half-a-cent.

No, because a few weeks ago, Jen missed an update when she was away. If it was an automated script, then it wouldn’t matter.

My mind is incapable of processing ‘black vest over white shirt’ as anything but Han Solo cosplay, so it looks like they’re off to a convention or something.
Do you think she’s even seen Star Wars? I can’t imagine their parents would be very fond of the Jedi’s spiritual views, or their ‘heathen witchcraft’ use of the Force. Even if it was just bad guys using the Force it seems likely they’d ban it, and be more cautious about prohibiting it than they were with Seinfeld.
If not… Well, I wonder what variation of her panel 6 face she’ll make when she sees Slave Leia for the first time.
They likely don’t have the philosophical grounding to read something like this and come away with an enlightened view on the subject. If they did we wouldn’t have real life groups of this nature to inspire fictional depictions. Where Emotion (especially fear, fear of “displeasing” God and going to Hell) wins control over Rationality. http://taylormarshall.com/2014/08/star-wars-christian-anti-christian-force.html
That was a very interesting read. I think its even better expanded with some of the EU material where one can use the dark side in balance with the light side of the force. Not sure if that’s getting overwritten in the new movie though.
Most of the EU stuff is getting blow out. Although even in EU the only characters that ever were able to balance Light and Dark Sides were mostly Video Game based. Revan, Kyle Katarn, Jaden Korr, Galen (Starkiller, the Gary Sue) Marek . Mace Windu is, as far as I’m aware, the only Light Side adept who could dabble with a bit of Darkness and not go turbo Darkside.
What’s better explored in the EU is how one can become emotional (angry, fearful, vengeful) without going Dark. It is when you act through the Force (or even just act) that you open yourself to the Darkside and find that faster easier eviler path to reach your goal.
Another good thing explored in EU is how good people go bad while still keeping various core elements, which get twisted. Jason Solo (Darth Caedus) is perhaps the best example, although the way no one noticed how Dark he was getting felt a bit contrived. Also the “I, Jedi” story with Corran Horn infiltrating a pirate group, and slowly being subsumed by the Darkside almost to the point of crossing over.
Well, modern Earth predators do start eating from the softer locations, it’s presumable Dinosaurs did the same, so perhaps Dina would follow the same lead…?
Well if birds evolved from dinosaurs, and chickens are birds, then Dina being a Dino Lady should lead to a Chicken Lady somewhere down the line of descendants. 30 Helens Agree.
I’m at a loss of who to choose for the hottest ladies. I dunno how Dina’s so high – she’s adorable, but just not hot imo. Can’t believe I’m saying this, but Go Becky go! Move higher up the ranks!!
Sal, Billie, Amber. I likes me the Human ladies. LOL great, I’m another Cybertronian with a Human fetish. Oh well, I’ve heard it also goes the other way…
I considered her, but I’m just not feelin’ it today. I’m amazed Ruth is ranked so low.
Admittedly, if the art style allowed for more muscle definition, then I probably couldn’t have avoided voting for Sal.
No. Sal topped the charts on last year’s poll, but was voted on by only 51% of respondents as one of three choices and I doubt she was top of the list for all of them. Her best showing was 54% again as 1 of three choices by each respondent, and on the first one of these she only had 22% as a single choice in a narrow field (9 listed ladies).
Billie and Ruth get a lot from me for being queer ladies in a current relationship. Dina is pretty hot, for dem branes, but third for me is… Honestly either Sarah or Sal. Both are smart…
I never doubted that Dina had put the pieces together. Her neurodivergence causes people to underestimate her. Dina does not understand less than her neurotypical peers. She likely processes some types of information differently, but she is quite capable of understanding the world around her, and understanding it well. She has demonstrated this numerous times. She knew Raidah was being condescending. She knew that Amber was Amazi-girl. She knew that Ethan was the gay ex-boyfriend Amber spoke of. She even knew that Amber would not be happy to see her father, and she had not wanted to let him in. She may struggle with how to interact and respond to people, but that doesn’t mean she isn’t observing and understanding; sometimes noticing details that her neurotypical peers missed. I never doubted that Dina would understand this situation quite well.
….whoa, I kind of got on a soapbox there. This hits a bit close to home for me. It doesn’t help that I’ve been rereading old arcs and come across comments doubting Dina’s ability to understand various situations in earlier comics.
Anyway, it makes me happy to see comics such as these validating my view of Dina as quite intelligent and perceptive.
I was eagerly anticipating seeing Becky’s reaction to the information that her father is looking for her, but I suppose it’s reasonable that she had to process the adorableness of the hoodie first. It seems that there’s plenty of drama to come. I’m not going complain about this brief insertion of fluff.
I think that Dina might be one of the best in the cast when it comes to logical, well thought out social interaction, with Marcie being remarkably untroubled as well. Kind of ironic, that the two with the most obvious obstacles (thinking differently from most people and most people not knowing ASL respectively) are that good at it.
It makes sense, really – in order to interact socially, these two have to think long and hard about it. It’s harder for them than it is for naturally social people (Walky, Joe, etc), so they put more thought and effort into it.
I’d like to point out how, all day, Dina’s been mocked for her choice in wardrobe by everyone around her, and the first thing Becky does when she sees is to go; ‘Yep, yep, that’s some GOOD shit!’
Basically Beckasaur is the best, is what I’m saying.
However it does build upon the perception many have of Dina as childish when they see her visible and single-minded interest in dinosaurs and all things paleontology.
Aww… not only the way Dina’s nerdiness shorts out Becky’s libido, but that hurt look Dina gives Becky in Panel 4 when she feels she is witholding an answer from her. She’s already starting to care so much about her little runaway and wants Becky to include her in on her struggles.
That being said, Dina also hasn’t gotten to the bit with the dad so that might shock her right out of her “mmm Dina” space. But it is still adorable to see young queer nerds falling in love.
It’s a thing of beauty. It’s also pretty telling that Dina doesn’t just present the relevant information the way she usually does. She wants to know more about where Becky comes from, because she cares enough about Becky to be sensitive about what she is told or not.
Yeah they are a good pair, Becky loves the outfit that most everyone else has negatively commented on.
Good thing my suspicions that Dina is a lot more intelligent re the world around her than has sometimes has been shown, she just doesn’t choose to participate in parts that don’t interest her. But, she does know when shit is about to hit the fan: and how to react.
Good thing she is smart, because she is going to have to be the brains in this match. Becky is about as aware as a turnip.
That’s a good catch and such an important thing for Dina. With Becky she’s not strange, she’s adorable (and I’m pretty sure that’s why she chose to wear the triceratop(TM) today.)
That Becky had that attitude was a large reason for Dina to kiss her in the first place.
Dunno… Becky has spent a life time outwitting toedad because she had to. I think round two will be a team effort.
Her dad, Mario is Catholic right? He’s gonna be mad because he’s had loved ones hidden away by lizards before. If he jumps on Dina that would be bad news bears.
Dina is – I have important information and scientific experiments will have to wait for controlled conditions. Becky is biting her lower lip, which is Willis shorthand for being pre-orgasmic. This could go either way.
I must admit, I am dumbfounded at how insightful Dina appears to be and am now wondering just how much else people think are hidden/closeted, that she knows. The only thing keeping things hidden is her normal unconcern with anything not paleo- related. She knew. Everything.
I’ve been surprised at how much people are surprised by Dina figuring this out. I may or may not underestimate her but the only part that could really be unclear was that it was about her sexuality, and Ross wasn’t that subtle about that either.
Dina has grown a lot from that introverted girl who hides behind doorways. She decided she wanted to be more, and she is well on her way.
She’s been keenly observant from the start, though, so it’s no surprise that she figured this out. If anything, her lack of social involvement has always helped her to see things without any subjective coloring. I wonder if her involvement in social activities will change that?
I think because she’s neurodivergent “insight” might partly be the wrong word.
But in practice, here, its functionally equivalent. ( Clear-sight? ecsight? )
From her standpoint its everyone else who seems to have a tremendous shared insight , yet are strangely unable to see whats right in front of their face. Remember she was the only one who Amazi-girl was, but couldnt comprehend why other people didnt see Amber.
Neurotypical Brains take in vast amounts of information, look for a signal , impose an order or schema ontop of it and present it to to you; and then throw the rest away. This is what magicians rely on to fool us. In Non-neurotypical brains this process tends to break down or not happen at all, ,giving the person greater information but they have to puzzle it out.
There are magnetic brain helmets that let you simulate some of these skills.
Whats really impressive to me Is Dinas use of common neurotypical insight here. The kind we take for granted. Not only did she put things together quickly, but she modeled Toe-Heads behavior in her mind. Non Neurotypical friends have had to painfully explain to me , how thats like looking into a black-box for them.
Granted she had Ambers Dad as an analogy, but that she could draw an analogy on human behavior and use it to model someone else, is a high-level neurotypical skill. Studying Dinos have paid off.
I think her dismay here is part situational , and part that her outward deductions have backed her right up into modelling Becky, too. Good thing that comes with the reward, of seeing someone else see you as desirable.
She could not reasonably continue stealth operations without being compromised. She was found by Joyce and Ethan, walked to the meet and greet, and stayed out of curiosity.
I think people are over-hyping the difficulty of the deduction Dina made. The only part she wasn’t explicitly told was that the ‘vile desires’ were her lesbianism – and given Becky’s ‘broke the closet’ status, and his…well…HIM-ness, that’s not exactly a giant leap to make.
This is not playing down Dina’s awesomeness in any way, it’s just…she wasn’t exactly making a Sherlockian leap.
other characters that share this quality include but are not limited to:
mike, walky, sal, roz, danny, joe, mike, jacob
of this list, i believe that at least sal and roz are not lesbians. it may be a question of how recently their character model has been updated (like how ruth suddenly developed irises behind her glasses when no one else has that)
[characters whose eyes are permanently covered by glasses are omitted from consideration]
There is so much here to process, Poor Dina.
She was just going to get a kiss from an unavailable Lesbian to see how she really felt. Instead she discovers Dina is actually gay-available and willing for more.
( If They were young guys, that discovery, alone, is enough for Boner-city! I obviously cant speak for the ladies on this tho. ).
And she discovers the whole truth of Beckys situation. And Secretly saves her. And is modelling Beckys Behavior/ theory-of-mind .
Does smooching give Dina sensory-overload, or bring her to a whole new level of development. Tune in at midnight.
( Seriously Willis, we had better be getting smooches soon .. )
So from Becky’s point of view, Dina just walked into the room and said, “Dinosaur Dinosaur? Dinosaur? Dinosaur Dinosaur Dinosaur?”; you know, like how Pokemon talk.
DAT ASS…uredly overwhelming cuteness
How do you comment so fast? I literally opened this page at 12 AM (9 PM where I live) and kept refreshing until the new comic loaded and you’ve already commented.
Jen was exposed to chronotons, thus allowing her to slip back in time to comment first.
Does that mean we’re going to have to start dealing with time skips… and is Jen a Mutant Atomic Superwoman?
Possibly, but unless you have a Temporal Ripple-Proof Memory, you’re unlikely to notice anyhow and as for Jen, yes, yes she is.
I just got out of TvTropes, why would you do this to me?
So you can build up a resistance to it.
You people are like a community or something.
Also, I think it’s amazing how Dina’s second for the hottest DoA lady. Lulz
Well, as long as Willis doesn’t pull a Melonpool.
Patreon supporters get the comic early so they can write out their comment in advance. They just have to paste and hit the submit button. Jen is particularly good at it, as we all know
Also, clear your cache.
Don’t ask.
We’ve all tried.
It’s just one of those things that can’t be explain…or if you knew the real reason it would drive you mad.
(Insert G’kar’s thoughts on Swedish Meatballs from Babylon 5 here).
I tried for weeks. Once I only missed by 2 seconds. It can’t be done.
New theory: Jen Aside is actually just Willis under a pseudonym.
I’ve succeeded, before. I can’t recall which strip, but minds were blown.
Careful, I like this planet. Rather it wasn’t lost to a apocalyptic paradox. I got all my stuff here…
That’s the risk you take with planets like Earth.
True. Oh well, it’s not like this is my 1st planet. Still got my old haunt on Cybertron…
…That’s if the war hasn’t trashed it…
lol I was just thinking it’s Willis.
clear your cache, for one thing
The cache is a lie
Other than the cake, the cache isn’t a lie. It just might not be the most current truth.

Hi, yeah, this I’ve put in quite a lot of thought into.
So I’ve come up with two theories.
A)
Jen has an RSS feed alerter of some kind, and flush their caches daily.

So all Jen has to do is watch the RSS feed at precisely 12:02:11-12:02:12, Willis time, and they get first comment quite quickly.
B) They’re a time wizard.
Well, that one’s just ridiculous. Clearly, she’s a time wizard.
Right? Everyone knows there’s no such thing as a cache.
Personally I believe that Jen lives in a remote location and has to brave miles and miles of road-less jungle each day to find an internet hotspot and then use a rickety old XP-machine covered in tapir poo to read the comic… and still beats all the rest of us.

Thank you, otusasio451. I needed that!
My pleasure! Weird Al fixes all wounds.
so she combos with baby dragon is what you’re saying
“Time Roulette… go!”
That reference sure was . . . timely.
Maybe Jen has no cache. And is also a time mage.
I’ll go with pre-prepared comment and an automated script that posts it right when the comic goes up.
No, because a few weeks ago, Jen missed an update when she was away. If it was an automated script, then it wouldn’t matter.
Also,
There are times when I reach the comment page and there are 0 comments.
If it was automated then it would be impossible for me to ever see that 0.
That’s Time LADY (the feminine form of Time Lord).
Actually, Time Lord can be used as a neutral term (eg Romana calling herself a Time Lord in Creature from the Pit)
*end geekery*
Thankyou…. so many people assume that neutral terms are masculine terms. It drives me nuts.
For example, even the “most masculine” of terms, “man” isn’t actually a masculine term. It’s neutral. Hence “mankind” refers to both male and female. Nor does MAN work well for (MAN + WO-MAN). Nor does MAN work well for WER-MAN.
Jen is on the special ultramegasupersecret Patron level, which allows her exclusive access to the timestream modulator, so her comments will always post at 1 second after the comic updates.
Isn’t there an FAQ entry about Jen’s comment-fu yet (and Plasma’s grav-fu)?
Plasma’s Grav-Fu is somewhat explained here, at the website Plasma’s name links to. Shows all the Gravitars they’ve used.
As for Jen, 0-cache time wizard? Yeah, Wizards…
one day, Plasma Mongoose needs to have a Jen Aside Gravatar
THEN THE WORLD WILL END
What you think of as “midnight” is merely an illusion designed to blind you from the truth of the power of the Fristers.
Jen Aside is the living avatar of “FIRST!!!!!!”

Oxymoron? You mean like American Intelligence? Sorry, been told that by a few people…
So in that outfit, youy thinking Becky wants to make Dina roar…?
If, by ‘Intelligence’, you mean government- or military-endorsed espionage, it’s probably not an oxymoron.
Beckster about to make that Dina sore. HEYOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
My personal theory is that she’s sitting right outside Willis’ window with a notebook, typing her comment as soon as the page is uploaded.
In fairness, the Tricera-Top is super cute.
Becky’s reason: OMG SHE KNOWS
Becky’s loins: RAWR
Becky’s cuteness sensors: fasj;fkasjdklfajds;fkjad;klf
Becky’s brain is going RARRR all right.
It’s catching!

Kissing kapoodles…
Who needs plot important conversation. Dino hoodie rules all!
DINA HAS DEDUCED EVERYTHING she is basically batman
Which is highly ironic, considering her roommate. Or maybe it was planned that way.
Robins are evolved dinosaurs, after all.

Here’s one.

Wow.
Dinogirl
So that means Amazigirl = Electra woman?
Thank God someone else remembers Electra Woman. Thought I was the last one.
But if Amber=EW, and Dina is DynaGirl, who’s Frank (EW’s ‘Alfred’)?
Dorothy?
I’m a child of the 70s, of course I remember them! (plus all the other bizarre Sid & Marty Croft shows on Saturday mornings)

Pain is not the word I would use when it comes to cuteness proximity.
It hurts so good!
You and us both, Becky. You and us both.
Preachin’ to the choir Becky. Preachin’ to the choir.
I reckon Dina’s expression in the 4th panel is cuter than the hoodie.
My mind is incapable of processing ‘black vest over white shirt’ as anything but Han Solo cosplay, so it looks like they’re off to a convention or something.
Yeah, I was wondering if maybe she shares Leslie’s love for Slave Leia, and dressed appropriately.
Willis has talked before about watching Star Wars bc his parents had the mentality of “I watched it when I was a kid so it’s okay.”
I assume that’s why Joyce’s parents let her go to a secular university, because they both went to one.
Slave-Leia? You mean Hutt-Slayer Leia.
But Dina shot first!
Oh no, please don’t start this discussion! I have places to be this week
I’m actual wondering if there will be a storyline where they go to a convention and meet the David Willis (the creator of Dexter and Monkey master)
Willis did guest-star a few times in his older comic Shortpacked! but I don’t think he plans on doing that with DoA.
David Willis is a recluse. In general, yes, but specifically in DoA.
Fortunately he’s not prone to biting.
Becky will avoid this conversation for as long as possible. She will be in her eighties growing old with her third wife and will avoid it.
Dina will just have to corner her, pin her down, and make her…
*mind wanders into fanfic territory*
Sorry, what were we talking about?
Dina will put on her carnivorous hat and tear out Becky’s gizzards! Their foreplay is intense
That’s definitely the hottest way to say “eat her out”.
Remember, Becky calls them ‘giblets’.
Well, modern Earth predators do start eating from the softer locations, it’s presumable Dinosaurs did the same, so perhaps Dina would follow the same lead…?
Also, you usually only have the one gizzard.
Yeah, I think we can relate.
RARR! We are the Dina. You will be assimilated. Resistance is futile!
The shipping intensifies
In retrospect it might have been a good idea for Dina to close the door before asking Becky if she was secretly living in the dorms.
Open doors. Becky’s greatest enemies.
But an open door might have Dina standing behind it. Truly an oxymoron!
Open doors may be Becky’s worst enemy, but Dina stands behind them.
So that’s why she nuked the closet.
*plays an encore of the Luis Cardenas “Runaway” on the Muzak*
NOW KITH
I don’t know what the Kids in the Hall have to do with anything.
Also, we all know due to yesterday, the proper term is ‘now buss!’
Well if birds evolved from dinosaurs, and chickens are birds, then Dina being a Dino Lady should lead to a Chicken Lady somewhere down the line of descendants. 30 Helens Agree.
Chicken Lady evolved from dinos…?
Damn, someone beat me to it ^-__-^;;
That explains Toedad. (I’m crushing your head).
When did they get kidnapped by the Fae?
Oh Becky, there’s a time for apparel commentary and a time for serious discussion that may lead to cuddling.
And smooching.
Maybe even on the mouth.
And to think the title of this particular strip almost would’ve been “Hemorrhagin’ “.
Damn, I kinda felt a tug for this ship on this strip. Nononononono…. aww wear a skirt with that hoodie, Dina, it would be even more adorbs~~
Pretty sure that would cause a portal to open to the walkyverse and Ninja Rick to fall through.
Dina, the raptor!!!
I’m at a loss of who to choose for the hottest ladies. I dunno how Dina’s so high – she’s adorable, but just not hot imo. Can’t believe I’m saying this, but Go Becky go! Move higher up the ranks!!
I think Sal is at the top of everybody’s list.
That’s why I don’t vote for her. It’s no fun when Sal wins every year.
I ultimately went with Joyce, Marcie and Dorothy.
Sal, Billie, Amber. I likes me the Human ladies. LOL great, I’m another Cybertronian with a Human fetish. Oh well, I’ve heard it also goes the other way…
I’m surprised the 3 I voted for didn’t rank bottom, hehehehe.
Who else wears leather pants…
I considered her, but I’m just not feelin’ it today. I’m amazed Ruth is ranked so low.
Admittedly, if the art style allowed for more muscle definition, then I probably couldn’t have avoided voting for Sal.
No. Sal topped the charts on last year’s poll, but was voted on by only 51% of respondents as one of three choices and I doubt she was top of the list for all of them. Her best showing was 54% again as 1 of three choices by each respondent, and on the first one of these she only had 22% as a single choice in a narrow field (9 listed ladies).
It depends what you find hot. I voted for Sal as well, but I think Dina is hotter.
Ditto.
Billie and Ruth get a lot from me for being queer ladies in a current relationship. Dina is pretty hot, for dem branes, but third for me is… Honestly either Sarah or Sal. Both are smart…
Mine is too, Becky… Well, except I got several more panels than you to get used to it.
Mine are* too
God damn I love you Becky.
Thanks for saying what we all were thinking, Becky.
Becky gives a voice to the people! Vox populi, vox dei!
I sense a Slipshine coming. xD
“Dina & Becky: Who’s Hornier?”
…please, have my internet. I concede it to you
no it’s going to be Rawr
Becky & Dina: a scientific en-devour? For science?
…She blinded me with science?
…She opened my eyes with science?
It’s okay Becky. You are /far/ from the only person having trouble focusing with her wearing that.
“My eyes are down here…below my dino-eyes…below my horns.
Are you sneaking peeks at my tail??”
We know this is the Dina storyline because you’re actually drawing different expressions for her. They are great, please continue with them.
Guilty of underestimating Dina in previous arcs.
She is quite amazing and intelligent.
Toedad litterally admitted Becky fled from him, there wasn’t much to guess at this point.
Iagree young Becky.
And the shipping gets harder and harder… Looking like the OTP for the strip.
Why are the best OTPs usually lesbians, anyway?
No! What about Billie and her boyfriend?
Way to stall, Becky.
She wants the real conversation to wait until Monday. Smart.
If Becky’s brain’s overloading now, wait until she finds out that Dina faced down her dad.
That’s going to be a lot of fun (for us, anyway. A lot of stress for her)
It’s okay, Becky. There is no shame in falling to the adorable!
I suspect a real conversation may be required, though.
I’d like to point out how, all day, Dina’s been mocked for her choice in wardrobe by everyone around her, and the first thing Becky does when she sees is to go; ‘Yep, yep, that’s some GOOD shit!’
Basically Beckasaur is the best, is what I’m saying.
The only comments I have noticed were from Sarah, and ToeDad.
However it does build upon the perception many have of Dina as childish when they see her visible and single-minded interest in dinosaurs and all things paleontology.
To be fair, Sarah basically admitted to doing it to divert and because she is chronically incapable of honesty.
“I will pet her, and squeeze her, and hug her, and pat her, and pet her, and rub her, and caress her, and call her George.”
Whoa! It’s a heck of a thing Becky’s into!
…and my saying that is not hypocrisy because I’d never have a chance to hug and dsqueeze Dina!
‘Tis a thing from the novelette _Of Mice and Men_ and often referenced in old Warner Brothers cartoons.
Obviously, the best way for them to have a serious conversation is for Dina to take that outfit off.
Indeed. I think that Dina ought to be able to work that out, don’t you?
Work it all out! But there honestly is no solution that Becky wouldn’t find distracting. Time skip to mouth smooching!
Right there with you, Becky.
Are they going to smooch? On the mouth?
Nah, the kapoodle.
And here I thought that was for the confides of marriage. Clearly this is a liberal utopia!
Becky is well evidenced kaboodle person.
But there is a tail in the way! Does that help or hinder?
Is that not what “getting some tail” means?
oh, what a fool i have been! i am a newcomer to paleo-slipshining and have much to learn
People falling in love – a thing of beauty.
Interesting, sounds like i gotta do more research into this “love” thing. where to start tho…
…I know – To the Harem Anime…
Pretty sure he’s a fundamentalist Protestant, like Joyce’s family.
Aww. It wasn’t lust (maybe) and it wasn’t panic (yet): it was a reaction to Dina’s Aura of adorableness! Better even than the other guesses!
Come on, Becky. You know you want to glomp that.
Sir, there are children here!
…please let her glomp…
So say we all, Becky. So say we all.
Will there be hugs? Please let there be hugs.
I initially read that as Bugs…
Yay Dina! She’s awesome and really good at deductive reasoning.
Very clever getting toe head on the bus.
That is the only Valid response to that outfit.
Oooh, green and orange are opposing on the color wheel! I get it. Subtle.
Damn it, Becky! Is Dina going to have to blindfold you whenever she wants to have a serious conversation?
Like that would lead to a serious conversation, or anywhere but one place in particular!
No. Just take the outfit off.
Even if she did that, Becky would still need to be blindfolded.
Ok, if we start writing the Slipshine here, then what is the point of Willis?
Well somebody’s got to -draw- it.
Or tease us with the possibility, only to tear it away cruelly…
…Maybe by Dina working out she’s a 0-1 on that scale…
…Do not underestimate Mr Willis…
So Becky is into lesbian dinosaurs?
It’s called a Lesosaur.
Sapphosaur?
Lickalotapuss?
No, Lixalotapuss is a Tuenpinkapod…
You have the best gravatar
We are in agreement.
Nature finds a way :3
Dino hoodie too op….want one!
My senses detect a lesbian make out scene about to happen.
you misspelled “Slipshine”
It may be rather soon for that. Give them time.
So the ambulance we see in the preview was from Becky hemorraging’s cuteness centers. I can live with that.
No, bad Becky, pay attention to the serious issues and stop shipping.
Oh god I have become what I always hated.
“Live long enough, & you might just see yourself become the villain…”
Engaging sympathy via light physical contact.
Or, quite possibly, mouth smooches.
Or by luring dickbag toedads onto busses.
…well played. Have an internet.
@HMRC4EVR The B5 reference really made my day. ThanK YOU FOR THAT. :d
Dina is – I have important information and scientific experiments will have to wait for controlled conditions. Becky is biting her lower lip, which is Willis shorthand for being pre-orgasmic. This could go either way.
Like Billie! And Danny and Ruth, for that matter
Now I’m shipping Danny and Ruth in the followup strip for Comedic Value
you just used my own words to make me sad. i will sleep now in order to recover my lost hp. [rest]
Note: Becky’s brain has multiple cuteness centers.
And Becky is vapor-locked by the cuteness of Dina’s outfit (luckily it’s a herbivore suit; if Dina was in Velociraptor mode Becky would be lunch…)!
Slipshine: Dina eats
outa BeckyWasn’t Dina supposed to be trailing Jacob for Sara? How did she end up here?
She could not reasonably continue stealth operations without being compromised. She was found by Joyce and Ethan, walked to the meet and greet, and stayed out of curiosity.
“I put your father on a bus. I am sorry. It was the best I could do.”
*takes cover*
She should have dropped a bridge on him.
Not to mention “Are you dressed as a Pokeman? I fear for your soul”. That makes a good reference for just how “my Religion or it’s heresy” he is…
This is why Becky is a terrible Liz-bian.
I like this couple so much that if Willis ends up making a slipshine I might actually buy it.
And I’m asexual. I just want to see more of them. So to speak.
For data purposes?
I am not immune to cute.
Hello everyone, first time commenting. Why is Willis under the impression that lesbians have no irises or sclera?
prove that they do
I’ll get you next time, Willis
other characters that share this quality include but are not limited to:
mike, walky, sal, roz, danny, joe, mike, jacob
of this list, i believe that at least sal and roz are not lesbians. it may be a question of how recently their character model has been updated (like how ruth suddenly developed irises behind her glasses when no one else has that)
[characters whose eyes are permanently covered by glasses are omitted from consideration]
Mike, Walky, Danny, Joe, and Jacob probably aren’t lesbians either.
this has yet to be proven!
Yes but are there any lesbians that don’t have that trait?
