Don’t worry, I did the same thing by accident a few days ago to someone – accidentally misclicked on “flag” because I was half-asleep at the time. Apparently there’s a threshold of Flags that need to be received before a post is manually assessed, so it’s all cool.
And yeah I was gonna comment the same thing about the sudden sexy leer in the final panel. But the adorable Dinah to me is even sexier than than sexy leering Dinah, so…
“Baby got back. And by back I am referring to her posterior not her actual back. Not to imply she doesn’t have one of those too. She does and it’s also very sexy.”
that’s generally how low self esteem works. people who grew up without any notion of their own worth are going to have trouble seeing it, and for girls a lot of that worth is centered around appearance and attraction because we’re not really raised to think of ourselves as much else.
at least, we weren’t. maybe things are changing for younger generations. i hope.
Keep in mind that she previously had been in love with Joyce. Her awakening is a story that ends in complete rejection, which, that’s rough. Dina’s been great for her, but between that, losing her mom and everything that happened with her dad, she probably has some complexes about rejection and abandonment.
I don’t think Becky has ever heard of grey-a/demisexuality or the split attraction model before. And as a baby queerdo coming out from under a religion-sized boulder that’s been on her chest half her life, it’s understandable that she might be worried that Dina’s lack of constant sexual attraction could be a reflection of her romantic attraction.
Actually the sexuality Jennifer does not acknowledge as real is her own.
Her model of sexuality basically goes that she is normal, and normal is heterosexual, so she is heterosexual, so heterosexuality includes same-sex attraction, so bisexuality doesn’t exist (except in porn).
“You can’t like boys and girls. Is there even a word for that?” Becky, at least according to a quote on TVTropes that doesn’t come with a link, and I don’t have time to source it properly right now. (Also, Danny said much the same thing but Dorothy set him, for want of a better word, straight.)
Becky learned from Sierra what bisexuality is and even more recently was supportive of Ruth dating Jason if it made her happy. Becky is just dismissive of heterosexual relationships and bisexuality which can sometimes be read as kind of obnoxious but she acknowledges their existence maybe even more than Joyce does considering Joyce threw a minor fit at Ruth and Jason dating.
Isn’t it kinda the joke online that Lesbians are so dense when it comes to girls liking them that they could be kissing and then stop mid way and ask “Wait, so you like me, right?”, I have seen memes about it everywhere in the LGBT Meme reddits and stuff.
I read it not so much as dense but unbelieving they found another glg person. “Wait, there’s another person like me who is a girl who likes other girls?”
Crap. Either that didn’t work, or it got flagged for a mod check because of the link.
So now my options are to risk a double post or to risk it never going up at all. Lame.
Watch them make comments about their sexy times that Becky desperately wants Joyce not to learn about… completely having forgotten that Joyce is still within earshot.
I was going to say “would they care” until I remembered, wait, yeah, that’s supposed to be a secret. I’m so used to virtually everyone else knowing that I forgot.
Come on, it’s Dina. She has a replica raptor claw (scientifically exact in size and form) which she runs over your skin at a carefully calculated pressure to balance pain and pleasure.
I have a bear claw necklace I use for this (not actually sure if it is, but it is genuine bone/claw with a bear carved in). 100% effective for experimentations
Later Becky died of bacterial blood infection originating from several deep tissue lacerations of her posterior.
Rare medical condition also known as Assepsis.
I love this side of Dina. Yes, there’s a sexiness component, naturally, but honestly, it’s as much that it’s her showing a playful side that Becky brings out in her. It’s easy to see what Becky’s getting out of the relationship, but I love that we can see that Becky’s still the girl who brought Dina out from hiding under her hood at the party.
Maybe? That’s the only thing I can think of too, but simply being insecure isn’t something that warrants forgiveness, at least not in my book. Blaming your partner for making you feel insecure might be, but I don’t think Becky did that.
This was a couple days ago so you probably won’t see this, but it wasn’t really insecurity or trust issues, no. It’s kind of hard to articulate why. I guess I see a pattern in this relationship where what Dina wants comes second to what Becky wants, and because this is being written as the cute or relatively healthy queer relationship compared to Ruth/Billie and whatever other hot messes are currently going on, I guess it bugs me to see that… not really being addressed? Like maybe it’s a writing accident or maybe Dina really is just that chill about everything, but especially given her history in other comics, I’m worried she’s being accommodating to the point of self-sacrifice.
Sometimes one partner has more issues than the other partner, and that’s fine, but it doesn’t feel like there’s anyone watching Dina’s back, including Becky, who seems like she’s dealing with too much baggage to be able to try to model Dina’s point of view, and Dina herself, who seems fully focused on Becky’s issues. This could change; someone could check in with Dina tomorrow and have a conversation where the difficulties of the relationship are acknowledged but Dina’s okay and we get to hear why she’s okay, and I would probably still not love Becky but I wouldn’t think that Dina was being kind of unintentionally exploited.
I guess this particular incident feels like a continuation of that pattern, and also reminds me of some LGBT intracommunity dynamics that bother me in general – the bi partner has to prove to the lesbian partner that she’s not really into some guy in order for her attraction to the lesbian partner to matter, even though Dina’s really clear that Joe isn’t a threat. Becky clearly isn’t trying to be shitty about this and isn’t putting Dina in that position on purpose, but that doesn’t make it not off-putting to me.
For the record, I don’t believe fictional relationships have to be healthy for it to be okay to portray them or to portray them positively, and I believe the range of what’s healthy for real relationships is a lot wider than many people like to think, especially when neurodivergent individuals are involved. It’s just that if something in fiction feels like it’s being presented as if it’s supposed to be more wholesome than the other things going on around it, I have higher standards for that thing?
“You’re worried about Dotty building a breakfast nook in your ass. This ass is being served to Dina as breakfast in whatever nook she desires. We are not the same.”
Someone pointed out in a previous comic that Dina’s arousal trigger might be a dom thing … I’m pretty sure that’s spot on. I mean, it’s kinda obvious at this point.
I liked it when she said “posterior” in the, uh, other context, but this is very hot. Perhaps there could be some kind of butt-based punishment for forgetting the “fundamnetal” principles of ownership in this context, hashtag just pervy spanko things hashtag sorry everyone
today in #9chickweedlane i learned that "how to lie" is not, actually, achieved by cupping the balls, despite the evidence of the entirety of the first panel, but by some other giant pile of words i guess, tl;dr
“It’s not me who’s a bigot,” they always argue. “I’m fine with all you people. But the rest of the electorate is full of bigots, on whose behalf I will now speak”

This week, I’m hosting The Daily Show Tuesday through Thursday.
It’s my first time hosting anything on TV. Ever.
I’ve spent years writing behind the scenes, learning from truly great and talented people. Now, for three nights, I get to sit at the desk and do it myself.
I should write GI JOE.
I've never watched the cartoon but my favorite Joes are WhipDip, AcidWash, Nectarine Todd, Freddy the Fridge, Buttskull, Hawaiian Punch, WetEar, ToggleSwitch, BatGuano, RipFart, RanchFlavor, TallyTwang, BallSack, Cretinair, and PartyDip.
PartyDip was badass.

Dina thirsty for some rump roast
much like how dromaeosaurs use their hooked talons to pierce and grip into their prey’s exposed flank
something something “killing claw” something
I understand the innuendo but the concept of being thirsty for meat is definitely leaving me with mixed feelings.
Eh. You just need a good blender.
What? You’ve never had soup?
I’m more of a tomato soup kinda guy, though I can eat a good Chicken Noodle.

That third panel… Dinah’s expression is just heart-meltingly adorable! <3
Especially given the contrast between that and her leer in the last panel.
Also, sorry for accidentally flagging your post. I went for the Reply option and missed ;(

Dina* not Dinah.
Damn you Otto Korrect!
Whoops, I keep spelling her name as Dinah by accident… xD
Becky, no! That’s how infections happen!
Is that how Butt’s Disease spreads?
Well in this case the disease would originate in Dina’s mouth.
I think Becky should be more worried about losing her lower lip they way she keeps biting it whenever she gets horned up.
Freeze Frame like in a Roadrunner cartoon, and their latin names appear.
Becky: Libidus Maximus-Lesbos
Dina: Domosaurus Rex.
Domosaurus Regina surely?
Well, then. (✷‿✷)
I like jokes like Dina’s
Dina an ass girl
“Becky got what most would call them apple bottom jeans, but I prefer to think of them as hadrosaur bottom jeans.”
“Baby got back. And by back I am referring to her posterior not her actual back. Not to imply she doesn’t have one of those too. She does and it’s also very sexy.”
Can’t blame her.
Dina seeing her sweet insecure girlfriend and knowing how to rectify the situation.
Rectumfy
I’m not sorry
Rectum? I barely knew him!
How is Becky so insecure about Dina’s attraction to her? It’s quite literally shown right in front of her.
Religion is a hell of a drug.
that’s generally how low self esteem works. people who grew up without any notion of their own worth are going to have trouble seeing it, and for girls a lot of that worth is centered around appearance and attraction because we’re not really raised to think of ourselves as much else.

This, mostly.
But also Becky is insecure about many things.
Yeah, one of the running traits of a lot of characters (Billie, Joyce, Becky) is that they don’t view other sexualities as Real.
Wait what sexualities does becky not view as real?
Must have missed of forgot that one.
And which did jennifer not see as real? I slightly remember her sayin something in that vein but don’t remember specifick details

Oh my god, Becky, look at your butt
Becky doesn’t have a butt, that’s Dina’s butt. We just established that.

Joyce isn’t on panel. She doesn’t exist. All of humanity exists in this tiny little square.
We are all just tiny little squares of humanity.
I remember that episode.
That would be an extremely funny way for Joyce to find out, I admit.
GODDAMN Dina is smooth.

A+++ hot Dina moment, please stop forgiving Becky for everything but holy shit
Genuinely confused, what is there to forgive Becky for, here?
Momentary insecurity, maybe?

George Takei: “Oh myyyy~”
Goddamn that line was slick
Dina has been thoroughly reviewing “Slick Lines to Turn On Your Insecure Girlfriend: A Study.”
audience: “FOR SCIENCE!”
You may wanna hold on to yer butts. Again.
Ever tried just simple, deep, physical touching of hands?
Hand-holding? How incredibly perverted of you, good ser or madam!
Eat that booty like you’re Blue in Jurassic World and you have finally had goddamn ENOUGH of Chris Pratt
[HEAVY BREATHING]
oh Dina turned it on! (the Charm not becky, becky’s not an It)
Alright Dina. You’ve landed a permanent place on the ranks of hottest DOA girls. That was smooth.
PANTS EUPHORIA!!!
Damn, that’ll get a motor running.
They had me in the first half, not gonna lie. XD This turned out better and funnier than I thought, good for them.
a Perfectly placed answer
Dina is really improving her interpersonal social skills.
Damn, Dina!
I wish I could be as smooth as Dina.
While Joyce is worried about people setting up shop in her butt Becky’s out here enjoying offering her butt up as a meal to Dina.
“You’re worried about Dotty building a breakfast nook in your ass. This ass is being served to Dina as breakfast in whatever nook she desires. We are not the same.”
Extremely sweet strip♡. Also, their expressions in the last panel are perfect, PERFECT! GO DINA!!!
This strip has been sponsored by Mortal Kombat
Dina: *rips off Becky’s clothes*
Announcer: FRIENDSHIP.
Dina being sexually intimidating will never get old.
While those who know me will know I’m into sub girls, I heartily approve of Dom Dina. <3
I feel like Dina could have a niche but profitable future as a mad scientist themed dominatrix.
Terriffic. My addled brain is trying to make Dina’s last line a “Farewell to the Master” reference.
I am very ace but Dina’s last line is amazing
This isn’t the first time Dina’s referred to Becky as “hers” as a form of flirting, right? I swear it’s happened before.
Someone pointed out in a previous comic that Dina’s arousal trigger might be a dom thing … I’m pretty sure that’s spot on. I mean, it’s kinda obvious at this point.
She does enjoy playing the role of a predator.
Slightly modified to, “That round thing at the back” is something I’ll now use some day. Well played.
Huh? First of all, if I own something it belongs to me, Dina, and second I don’t even own a donkey in the first place!
Their relationship is my favorite.
Domme Dina is my new favorite.
Damn that was smooth Dina! Well played
All your ass are belong to us
Didn’t know we were eating at DOMino’s today…damn
Becky, I don’t think the phrase “bite my ass” is supposed to come with that connotation.
But what if it was shiny and metal?
That last panel is extremely relatable to me for very gay reasons
I need a lady to lay claim to my ass 🥺
wow dina looked like a raptor about to feed in that last panel
Lovely <3
This is so unlike Dina from last semester, she’d so much more relaxed than she was then.
Huh. I don’t sense a difference.
Damn, Dina learns quick.
I guess I already knew that, she’s a dutiful student after all.
God I love Dina
I liked it when she said “posterior” in the, uh, other context, but this is very hot. Perhaps there could be some kind of butt-based punishment for forgetting the “fundamnetal” principles of ownership in this context, hashtag just pervy spanko things hashtag sorry everyone
I never would’ve had Dina figured as an absolutely feral domme, but I’ve been loving watching it come out.
