Its a real long shot, but if things are not improving have you considered looking to see if there any relevant clinical trails (as an infected indivual you would be looking at Phase II or III) going on for a new anitbiotics or something that might work on your particular infection? Viral theropeutics is a field in its early emergence (though at this stage the focus seems more on oncological rather than bacteriophagic uses), maybe there is something there? I hope you feel better soon.

I can only speak for myself, not someone else*, but my reaction to Dorothy being interrupted and all the demands for physical interaction from Joyce was “just leave her alone and let her live her life, why isn’t she put off by this”, which is how I know how close to aro-ace I am in the present moment.
In the past I’d have been like Joyce and Dororthy, and I have no bad vibes towards the comic showing them like some folk do. But seeing cutesy stuff reminds me how little I relate to those feelings at this particular point in life.
