(I’m actually not sure Dorothy had a coherent first-time attraction moment, I think she was sublimating her feelings too intensely. The specific ways she reacted to Joe asking if she was into Joyce gave off pretty intense “haven’t let myself ponder that question for even one millisecond” vibes, imho.

So I think the moment that popped into her head when Joyce asked was much more recent, AFTER that conversation, even though she’s had feelings for Joyce for a lot longer.)
I really wish Doyce hadn’t started out with cheating and continued with them treating a lot of other characters badly. I could probably enjoy this strip if not for that, or at least I likely would not find their behavior in this one nearly as annoying.
