Ehhh, not really. The only place to get remotely decent food at my university is the pub downstairs, and a microwaved floppy-burger and fries costs $7, with no drink. There is a decent burger, though, but it costs $6.50 by itself.

I been to Flinders University (visitor, not student) and the central part is like a mall of sorts with things like ATMs that dispense $10 notes (normally ATMs have only $20 & $50 notes), Hair Salon, Pharmacy, supermarket, Post Office, food court, coffee shop and tavern (legal drinking age is 18 in Australia).

Hm at my university (living in Sweden) a lunch costs like 10USD or so and is of quite high quality… unlike their amazingly stale (deadly stale) 5USD sandwiches.

Good thing I usually have very few hours scheduled and mainly get to work and study at home hah
