Let’s spelunk through my hard drive.

Hey, remember Quake 2?  Ahahahaha.  So, like, people would build models for it so they could play as different folks in multiplayer.  That was apparently easy enough, but easier even still was drawing up new skins for these models.

Here’s a Ruth skin I created in 1999 for someone else’s Rei Ayanami model.

She died a lot.

    Ahhh, such memories of Q2CTF. On dial-up. Getting my first 56k modem, and finding out that the modem pool for my university’s network was entirely 28.8k
    Using Netscape Navigator on Win95, and finding comics online from Big Panda!
    Sigh. I’m so old.
