Excellent. It finally feels like there’s a storyline taking center stage instead of random snippets of everyone’s day to day (Which we’ve only seen four days worth)
I’m not certain if you’re referring to the comic as a whole or just the recent strips. Because there have definitely been storylines already that have “finished” and others that have started and are being developed.
Li’l Joe is Amazi-Girl, and that’s why you couldn’t get a good look at him in that video! Amazi-Girl was hiding inside of that woman to preserve his secret identity!
I like the story and the art (which is rare because its usually one or the other) and the characters…but some of them just shouldn’t mesh romantically, different universe or not s:
I knew Danny was going to arrive with Amber when Dorothy was interviewing Joe, and I knew her reaction would be “: / so quick to get over me, huh?” …I’m glad the subject got changed, but I think we can all agree we’d rather not have her secret identity be discovered so soon >//<;

But that’s why it’s so clever! Really, it is a male character cross-dressing as a female superhero to better protect his secret identity. So Amazi-Girl is really Joe wearing a cunningly-engineered exo-skeleton to disguise his masulinity and to allow his to express his oft-denied feminine side!
Good Lord, yes!!! And he made her brunette so no one would think it really was Dotty. His first thought when seeing Amber was: ‘Oh Crap’, not ‘Creepy’.
Two guesses on how this will go: (1) Danny gushes about how amazing Amazi-Girl is, and Amber struggles not to blush or (2) Danny gushes but describes Amazi-Girl as a 6-foot buxom amazon, while Amber struggles not to punch him.
I just noticed that in the first panel, Amber asks “So who is my alleged clone now” suggesting that there have been clones of her around before…. mhmmmmmmm very interesting indeed!
