Also: while Jennifer isn’t changing her name for trans reasons, even half the trans people I know–myself included–have accidentally deadnamed ourselves early in the “I have a new name now, I’m still getting used to it” process. It’s a deeply ingrained habit after nearly 2 decades.

Either way, Tony and Walky would be born 2-3 years apart anyway given Tony is the Dean’s biological son. The big question would be whether the Dean remarried rapidly or not too.
It’s me reading a bit into a character who we don’t see a lot of but I’m not sure I’m seeing racist undertones Linda divorcing her husband for a half-black man, giving up her rights to her son, and then giving birth to and keeping the twins she had with Charles less than 3 years later.
I know it would be rule of dramedy for Tony and the twins to be related but I just don’t see it lining up feasibly.
I mean, you can very easily see:
“Linda had her child with the Dean, started an affair soon after with Walky’s dad and then left her husband as well as child for them.”
It’d only be weird in our society because of it being more typically the behavior of a man.

My husband and I have similar proportions. My legs are ultra long, my dad is 5’6/8 (dyscalculic can’t remember which, think it’s 5’8) and I don’t have to adjust my seat when he drives my car. I think this is a case of a cartoon logic call back rather then a serious case of him remembering. unless it turns out he’s particularly strict with campus rules and keeps track of everyone who breaks the rules.

Maybe she found out that Tony was actually an important player on the local team AND the dean’s son (I don’t think the jersey he was wearing at that first encounter was absolute proof of his status)(incidentally, I note the jersey he wears casually around campus has a different number (4) than the jersey he was wearing the one time we see him on the field (9 or 8 and 6 or 0)).
I actually find the last panel a bit ambiguous:
On the one hand, it sure looks like Jennifer wants Sarah to leave so that she can be alone with Tony. But a more charitable reading is that, realizing that Tony’s presence is causing her mind to deteriorate into helpless drooling fangirl, the rational part of her mind is making a desperate attempt to have the distracting presence leave so that she can speak rationally to Sarah.
I’m pretty sure it’s the former, but there’s that faint possibility of the latter.
I would say it’s that she’s feeling the social pressure since brunch with Walky to reestablish her popularity, Radiahs pressuring her to take Asher back which she doesn’t want to do and the deans son is the answer to all her problems (in her mind). my first thought was that she was telling Tony to leave until I realized the speech bubble is clearly Sarah and it makes more sense for Jennifer/Billie to be responding to that question, especially since she regained the ability to speak clearly.
Jennifer is aware she can’t take Asher back because she didn’t want to dump him but did as a negging tool.
Is she actually aware of that though?
She’s aware she ended things with Asher because she doesn’t think hes good enough for her and in her mind taking him back without him changing for her would hurt her fragile pride.
