As someone who has thick brows, this one also made me feel personally insulted. …Granted I AM single and DO have caterpillars on my face, but it just makes me sad that the beauty standards for ‘being a woman’ (whether you were born as one or not) means thick eyebrows are seen as gross. I am indeed USAmerican! And it’s true, Americans are really weird about any reminder that women have any sort of body hair. I know quite a few other women who routinely get their eyebrows waxed or threaded and I can’t be assed to do that. Even tweezers honestly hurt like hell.
For me, tweezers are fine for plucking one eyebrow and then hurr a ton for the other. Luckily I’m fine with their general shape and volume as they are. But plucking the occasional strays will get one eye watering.

Apologies if that’s not helpful. It’s just the closest OTC I know of, to being able to get pain medicine by Rx.
GABA and Theanine supplements also help, as does Magnesium supplementation, depending on the budget for supplements.
Personally, listening to music at 174 hz for some reason helps me with the pain.

I went to state college in a town with about 10K residents. This made pretty much everything in the town effectively walking distance, and yet even here they ran a bus line. I all but assume that for any college big enough to have a campus that they have public transportation.
The comic does have a legally distinct Uber equivalent, no? It’s called “Zoomr” or something, and Ruttech owns it.
I should also reiterate: sliding timescale. Tech that didn’t exist when the comic started will exist in-universe when it’s relevant. We have preview strips showing off characters with a Switch 2 and everything.

I am a little concerned that Dorothy and Joyce, thinking that they have to fix things and unable to find Becky, will charge in and flail at Dina about her breakup with Becky…which may be news to Dina, since as commenters pointed out at the time, she didn’t actually say she was breaking up with Becky, and she’s usually very direct. Dramas!
I’m glad Becky is trying to get help from someone who could probably give her some really good advice for her situation. Of course, that’s assuming Becky actually finds Leslie and gets a chance to talk with her soon.

California poppy is related to regular poppy but contains no opium. It does have similar analgesic effects, though. It’s legal to buy and use.
